Good point...his wife already figured out how gross he is and won't touch him. That's why he has to pay someone to lower themselves to have sex with him. Hopefully, she divorces him and takes whatever she can.

Er… what? The wife won’t have sex with him because she’s asexual and sex-repulsed, so the husband cheats on her with a sex worker, and apparently the reason the wife is sex-repulsed by him specifically because she knows he’s likely to cheat? I mean, it’s possible to frame this in a way which is consistent, if a bit contrived (as I just did) and requires both people to be idiots (which can definitely happen). But I strongly suspect that either they don’t understand asexuals or they’re trying to combine a pair of mutually-exclusive motivations.

I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't know a thing about asexuals or the concept of open marriages (as is likely the case with that story and wouldn't be surprised if they're omitting large parts of it and only focus on key parts, granted i could be wrong of course)

So, OP is fully in support of sex work, but considers people who partake filthy, used up, and lowering themselves.

I wonder if this translates to other jobs, or they are just a hypocritical asshole? "Yeah, I fully support people who want to become filthy, disgusting baristas. I also throw my support behind those terrible, scum sucking traffic workers."

... phrasing it like that though, that might not be all that surprising, actually. What with the depressingly prevalent idea that working a particular job means you're open for verbal/physical abuse and that you don't deserve enough cash to live on.

Weirdly, i support safe sex workers, both female and male. Regulated, inspected, etc. Not sure where to put the tax stamp, though....

And way before 'good for the economy' i would put 'great for the workers and their customers.' Fewer pimps, regular doctor visits, fewer mug shots of celebrities arrested for consuming...

God. If your relationship is transactional, you offer fidelity only if you get enough sex, what you have is a property sharing arrangement. Get their permission to seek sex elsewhere or break it off.

No issues there. Clear-eyed and objective evaluation of the situation, i see. Probably knows that the only people that would hire a tax-paying sex worker are single male college kids with money to burn and nobody gets hurt.

Honestly nikita remind me of the Karens that consider fast-food workers to be subhumans that don't deserve a living wage but have no problem stopping at McDonald's for breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday.
