Women in the workplace is a pretty recent development in human civilization and it is being shown to have drastic consequences on both an individual and societal level

Not all women are the same

Women have been working outside the home throughout history. That has only been an upper class/middle class thing.

Also you get to vote for your government and can protest or call them. How is that even comparable to having to be a housewife?

For most of human history, humans were hunter-gatherers. Everyone hunted, everyone gathered.

During recent history, after agriculture started, the whole family worked on the family farm.

Only in the latest state of industrialization did humans go to a workplace. Men went to an office, women went to some-one else’s home, or to a communal work-space, or to an office.

It’s just for a VERY short space of time, that the upper-middle class have been able to keep a wife at home, caring for kids and home, while the husband went away to work.

In short, HOME has usually been the workplace, for both men AND women.

If only the man leaves the home to earn a salary, an agreement has to be made between husband and wife, as to how the income is to be divided up in case of a divorce. If SHE is WORKING at home, part of the income clearly belongs to her.

The government is for administering co-owned infrastructure, schools, healthcare, welfare, etc.

When the first coal mines opened in England some 300 years ago, women were hired alongside of men.
They worked in the mines, and dug coal for pennies a day.
When the first factories opened, some 200 years ago, women worked in them.
Of course women worked in the fish markets of Rotterdam, Naples, Bristol, Lisbon, Algiers, Venice, Jaffa, Brest, Odessa, and Dublin, as far back as recorded history. The term “fishwife” refers to these tough, no-nonsense, brawlers, who could wrestle a live tuna onto the slaughter table unaided. Loud, crude, and quick with a truncheon.
No man would cross these women. Not if he wanted to keep his teeth.

Sorry but women have always worked dumbass. They worked on farms, they worked in factories. Offices are the recent development, not working women.

What if the home IS her workplace? Not just a housewife, I mean a home business, so she doesn’t have to dress up and commute. It’s a dream to many working women (and men).

So, YOU’RE Mistaken, and so badly that you don’t even know how to use contractions.
