I think our conservative idea is that parents and families should determine what children learn and what values they are brought up with. So many of the leaders of the left, I hate to be so personal about this, are people without kids trying to brainwash the minds of our children. That really disorients me and it really disturbs me. Randi Weingarten, who's the head of the most powerful teacher's union in the country, she doesn't have a single child. If she wants to brainwash and destroy the minds of children she should have some of her own and leave ours the hell alone.

Yeah. Well, maybe you’ll have earned the right to so much as think of telling women what to do when you can conceive, gestate and give birth to a child, JD Weird.

But then, perhaps that concept isn’t so weird when you consider that the first womb transplant happened here in Britain: and along with Cuba & China, we’re at the forefront of Gene Therapy research. It’s only a matter of time…!

…so when you can have that womb transplant and the relevant treatments to ensure you can earn that right to tell women what to do, go ahead. But then it would only apply to you. Why? Well, time to quote old Isaac for truth again: “There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. Well, “moderator at a quaint old small fundie mockery site” may not really qualify as “leader of the left”*, but, anyways, I do not have any children yet… but I so strongly want to be a father**. And I assure you, there is a mutuality - I would be very strongly against my children, and children in general, being taught according to your twisted ideas about what children are supposed to learn, and what not to learn. And as someone whose own school days are … well, I certainly feel my biological clock ticking, but I’m pretty sure far closer than yours, assuming you’ve actually been to school… and who had sex education and was confronted with atrocities and injustices my nation has committed in its history, I would say that I am more qualified to make such a judgement.

This only makes sense from the perspective of special pleading: That conservative values are the “default” and liberal and centrist values are the “alternatives”, that pushing Christianity on children in public schools is not indoctrination but preventing any religion from doing so *is*. It not seem like special pleading to someone who’s been steeped in that sort of thing all the lives, but to anyone else, it’s difficult to argue that it isn’t.

I've never been to Sunday School but I get impression it is all religious instruction. Tell me again about brainwashing Vance
