She wasn't defending herself. She felt bad and wanted to make other people suffer like a typical school shooting case. You think she couldn't poison the husband in a different situation? No she wanted to kill as many ppl as possible.

Technically she wasn't kidnapped, the marriage with this man was most likely arranged by her parents, as that is what the law states has to happen for a 14 year old to be married. Wouldn't you say her parents are more to blame than the husband in question? Would you also condone her killing her parents as well because they arranged the whole thing ?Attempting to kill 14 people because you aren't in love with the man your parents forced you to marry doesn't sound like my kind of justice.

You are all fucking disgusting for demonizing a child stuck in a shitty situation. Do you troglodytes even fathom how desperate she would have been to save herself from a very likely lifetime of rape (she is a child, so any sex would technically be rape) and abuse? Brides in forced marriages generally aren’t treated well, especially underage ones. Plus, places where forced marriages generally have piss poor (if not essentially non-existent) domestic violence laws and have the “it’s not rape if your married” thing going on, so if hubby forced her to have sex or beat her, she would be shit out of luck. She likely wouldn’t be able to file a restraining order, call the cops , go to a shelter or even divorce.

First of all, good for that girl. Any sicko who seeks a child bride for a forced marriage deserves such a fate.

Secondly, reading these comments really makes it hard to argue for a right of “freedom of speech”. These misogynistic pedos should be locked up and castrated.

Yep. And those dudes sit in their comfy chairs and judge her from their relatively comfy lives. “Oh why didn’t she invoke any of these options that I have?” It never occurs to them that she may not have those options…

If I walked into a house and a man introduced a 14 year old girl as his wife and my first reaction isn’t to immediately get police involved but to sit down and talk like it’s a normal day as he orders her to do wifely things and make tea for the guests I’d fucking deserve for that tea to be poison.

Hopefully this will make other men think twice before marrying children.

I read the whole thread, wasting hours! I wouldn't say it was justifiable homicide, but for her, definitely understandable. She was an underage child (by Western standards) forced into a marriage and trapped in a sexually abusive situation she didn't want, so acted in DESPERATION.

Given the culture there, I would call it justifiable homicide. She was forced to marry this man, and so in the eyes of the law, and in their culture, he’s her husband. She had nowhere to run. It’s one of the things this particular asshole thinks he has a gotcha on, “she could have just left”, but … go where? Her parents sure won’t take her back, her family thinks she’s married and should be a good wife, and people outside the family won’t get involved for fear of violence.

More of these men need to be killed for them to realize they can’t sustain this.
