So, is the carbon dioxide produced by burning coal, is that going to hug the ground or ‘end up in the atmosphere,’ moron?

But you forgot that, first, warm air rise above the soil and second, plants make CO2 when consuming their sugar reserves.

Carbon dioxide isn’t that much heavier than air. It’s like, heavier by half. That’s not enough for it to be a gas like radon or sulfur hexafluoride that sinks because it’s so heavy. The weight difference between carbon dioxide and air is so small that air currents and temperature gradients matter more.

There’s already carbon dioxide in the air floating around because Earth’s atmosphere is a heterogenous mixture to begin with for the precise reason that gases of somewhat different weights can float among each other. Air is mostly nitrogen and partially oxygen and they don’t separate cleanly, although the oxygen stays a little lower on average.

I’d give the right wing bleating about “But plants need carbon dioxide!!!” a little more heft if they weren’t also the same people who want to chop down every tree and pave every bit of greenery over with parking lots.

Everyone noticed it but just adding the very obvious note that it's climate change denial.

Then we know that warming occurs, so you'd have to show evidence that other factors are the main forcings to deny the well founded evidence that greenhouse gases play a major role. Popular claims like that it's only due to Sun changes, have long been debunked (these claims also stem from ignorance and conspiracy theories like that climate scientists would be rejecting potential contributing factors).

I know ignorance is curable. But is determined ignorance a chronic condition?
