The “Queer Planet” documentary is really something.

If animals were indeed gay, there would be no more animals. Just basic science there.

But I wonder if the gay animals get special and protected status in the animal kingdom or just in this circus we’ve allowed in the human world…

It's all or nothing with them. They can't accept that homosexuality can exist in nature. They can't believe that a small percentage of animals in nature could be homosexual, no it has to be none of them or all of them, and if it's all, the species goes extint.

I'm no biologist or expert but I can easily see some advantages of homosexuality existing in nature. Such as a way of natural population control.

Humans can be gay. And yet we still have an abundace of humans in the world. Almost too much for the planet to handle. So it seems like that doesn’t cause extinction at all. Just basic science there.

Not even right at a basic level. Parthenogenesis for instance and some species are hermaphrodites.

Okay, I went and read through the comments and honestly had a laugh-out-loud chuckle at the Willy Wonka meme.

That’s not basic science, that’s ‘insert your agenda’ caricature of science.
Like ignoring all the research into gender identity and screaming ‘penis.’
Like ignoring all the evidence for evolution and screaming ‘Genesis!’
Like looking at a guy who’s a multiple-bankruptcy businessman, a draft-dodging traitor, have five kids by three wives, multiple rape accusations, and life-long tax cheat and giving him the nuclear codes.

Did you notic that, among both animals and humans, homosexual behaviours can coexist with heterosexuality, that bisexuality is a thing and that exclusive homosexuality is very limited, except in some limited settings (prisons, boarding schools, zoos, etc.)?

Animals don't need special protections because other animals aren't bigots who can't mind their own business.

Meanwhile, Snails: Hermaphrodites. Even certain species that can change their gender at will.

Science destroys bigots’ opinions.

Gay humans have existed since the dawn of humanity and there still are humans, stupid. Slippery slope for panic, ignorance.
