“Took it back?” …This really is a Solutrean thing, isn’t it? Even leaving aside how unlikely it is that the first Americans were white, other white people taking Native American land isn’t a reclamation. If a white guy steals a black guy’s wallet and I steal it from the white guy, the fact that I’m black too doesn’t mean I’m “taking it back”. Now, if I were to return it to its original owner, a case could be made that I’m taking it back… but the Solutrean culture is dead, so you can’t return the land to them even if they had been the original owners.
Because we couldn't live with you on the land because you guys kept declaring war on us and kept declaring war and trying to take back land that we already traded and/or bought from you.
That did happen sometimes, but most Indian Wars started for other reasons… like the government breaking agreements it had negotiated with Native American tribes. Ever hear of the Trail of Broken Treaties?
