My wife can drive a car. This comes in handy for visits to the ER, or getting home after a medical procedure that prevents driving. She also drove on our vacation when the sky got too dark for my remaining eyesight. She can drive stick. Half my woworkers can’t drive stick.
This is a better model for masculinity than the Taliban provides, expecting women to be equal contributors without feeling threatened by their abilities.

On the other hand, i’ve come to realize i’m not cis. I sexually identify as wanting to make my wife happy. So the Taliban can sit on a fucking cactus.

Considering how humanity has embraced capitalism, I'd say the entire structure of the Western world is based around a compulsive desire to make money.

Which exposes the Taliban's idiocy: if you ban half your population from being educated, you're crippling your economy. In short, the Taliban is proof that evolution can go in reverse: we're all trying to make progress, but they're trying to return to the Dark Ages.
