For context for anyone who doesn’t want to click on the link, he’s talking about an episode of Sesame Street about racism where Elmo is FaceTiming a family member and asking him why the people protesting outside his apartment are angry. The family member tells him they are angry about people being treated unfairly because of their skin color. At no point in the episode did he blame white people as a whole for racism, yet Carlson took that as an attack on white people. That’s why he came to the conclusion that white children are being indoctrinated to blame themselves for the existence of racism just because they were born white.

I’m the submitter of the quote. I found out about this on r/TumblrInAction on Reddit. If you’re not familiar with that sub, it basically documents moonbat-level SJW antics. This isn’t to say I’m against SJW causes like LGBT rights. Just stuff like throwing tantrums about racism/sexism/homophobia/transphobia in movies or advertisements where there isn’t any. I did a search online to see if this was legit and came across American Renaissance. Since I’m not familiar with that site, I didn’t realize until after I looked it up on RationalWiki that it is in fact a white supremacist site. It’s highly likely this was actually cherry-picked or otherwise taken out of context. Sorry if this doesn’t belong on FSTDT because of that.
