My boomer (also racist) tenant died of pneumonia because I wouldn't fix the central heating (only -8°C btw). Now I have to hire my voodoo doctor contact to reanimate her corpse just to get my final rent payment. Why are piggies always so inconsiderate of our time?

So, you were such a cheapass that you derlicted your duties as a landlord, violating the rental contract by failing to maintain as working that vital service, and your thought is about how your negligent murder of a tenant puts you out a rent check?

What the actual hell is wrong with you? You just directly claimed responsibility for someone's death as an extension of failure to live up to your contractual obligations as a landlord - something that comes with very real criminal liability even without bragging you caused a death - and now you're complaining you didn't get a chance to get paid for said failure you should be thankful didn't get taken to court where you'd have been sued destitute lamenting how unfair it is you can't mug the corpse in addition to ripping them off in life?

Depending what version of the afterlife you believe in the place you're going is either going to give you an endless ironic acquaintance with your tenant's last moments or the inverse where you'll wish there wasn't quite so much central heating.

Given the tone of the subreddit on which it is posted and the picture of the OP, it looks more like very bad taste humor.

This post is from r/LoveForLandlords. It’s basically a sub for sharing pro-slumlord memes and jokes to “trigger the libs”. This is one of those jokes (at least, I hope it’s a joke and not a confession of manslaughter). I thought the callous attitude toward people who are struggling to get by with unjustifiable rent rates makes this post FSTDT-worthy.

The post is fake as hell. First "only -8C" is absurd. By definition that apartment would be below freezing. Then the voodoo shtick come along and removes all doubt that he is just "taking the piss", as the Brits say.

The attitude is worthy of FSTDT, certainly … but a troll post from a troll sub? One which, by the way, looks (at least from this post) more about satirizing slum lords? I don’t think this really does belong. It seems so much more like one of our own commentators rewording a serious quote to tell what it’s really about.
