When you're speaking with an atheist, the Bible says you are dealing with a "fool" (see Psalm 14:1). This isn't someone who is a clown or a court jester. They are people of skill. You're not dealing with someone who is of a low intellect. That person can't help having a low IQ.

So let’s take these points one at a time:
1. God did come down in the person of Jesus of Nazareth. He was very straight with the world, and they tried to kill Him as soon as He opened His mouth in public. They tried to kill Him a total of ten times before He made it to the cross. They hated Him because they didn’t like what He said. Neither will you, if you take the time to read what He said, in the gospels.

3. You are right. His Book doesn’t fit modern times. Adultery, fornication, homosexuality, pornography, blasphemy, murder, rape, stealing, lying, and hatred are still morally wrong. So we are the ones who need to change. Not the Bible.
4. How would you like God to “step in and help out” with the modern holocaust--abortion? He says the slaughter of children in the womb is wrong. If you think abortion is a woman’s choice, that is your choice. But you will have to face the Creator of the Universe (the One to whom you are giving your moral lecture) and on that Day, I don’t think you will have too much to say.

Perfect Timing
I was on a red-eye flight on the way from Los Angeles to Atlanta, Georgia. The man next to me had slept for most of the flight, and I waited for him to wake up so that I could share the gospel with him. I had spoken to him earlier and shared a little about our TV show. I knew that he had studied psychology, and so when he did stir I said, “Hey, Steve. I’ve got a question for you in light of your study of psychology. Kirk Cameron and I often ask this question to people on our TV show. What do you think is on the other side . . . what do you think happens after you die?”
He thought for a moment, then said, “Nothing.” I asked, “Are you an atheist?” He said that he was, so I said, “Could you believe me if I told you that this plane fell together by accident? Its jet engines, windows, seats and wings were not built. They came from nothing and fell together.” He said that he could believe that. This man was a no-brainer, so I decided that I would quickly move from his professed intellect to his conscience, and took him through the Ten Commandments.
After realizing that he had broken four of the Ten Commandments he admitted that if God were to judge him by them, he would end up in Hell. When I asked, “Does that concern you?” he quickly answered that it didn’t. It didn’t concern him at all.
I then told him about a friend of mine who at the age of 20 years was told that he had terminal cancer. His “friends” told him to enjoy his last six months by spending it with prostitutes. He wasn’t interested, because he had something stronger than his sex drive. It was his will to live. A cry came from his heart, “Oh, I don’t want to die!”
By this time the passenger next to him had tuned in, so I pointed to him and said, “God has given you that same will to live.” I looked at the professing atheist and earnestly said, “He has also given you the will to live Steve.” Just then, the plane, which had begun a slow descent, suddenly revved its engines, and in a split second changed to an ascent. This had the terrifying effect of throwing all the passengers into a momentary and nauseating weightlessness. Faces looked alarmed. Many of them shouted out in terror. I looked at Steve and said, “That sure kicked in the will to live.” He looked stunned, and said, “Absolutely!”
The timing was perfect. From that point on, he sat and listened to everything I had to say, and even took one of my books. There are no atheists in an air pocket.
I don't know if God caused that plane to do that, but there comes a time in the life of a Christian where coincidences happen so often, it becomes illogical to use the word. The timing was so perfect, and that's the way God works. His timing is always perfect. He's never late for anything. What may seem to be too late, isn't. Red Seas can be opened, lion's mouths can be shut, and even the dead can be resurrected. Nothing is hopeless, because with God, nothing is impossible. So never panic about the spiritual life of your child. Ask God for his salvation, then thank Him for it. Rest in the Lord. Trust Him. Faith never loses its peace; it even sleeps in a storm.

I have posted regarding this issue once before and believe it worth another read. As you travel during the holidays or any other time, please try to shop and purchase gas and other items at American owned stores. The C stores/tobacco outlets, etc. with the lights around the windows and doors are not owned by God fearing Christians. In large part, these stores are owned by folk that send their profits back to their homeland and then in turn use these funds against our country to create turmoil, fear and in some cases death and destruction. I realize I am "painting with a broad brush" here, but the madness has to stop. Please join me in making the extra effort to never support these stores/shops! I am trying to do my part and I know you will to.

When did it evolve eyes, and up until that time, how did it see?
When did it evolve lungs?
Did it breath before it had lungs?
If it didn't, why did the lungs evolve if it was doing just fine?
When did air evolve with the right mixture of oxygen to sustain its life?
When did the brain evolve so that it could think, and therefore eat food to sustain its life?
When, how, and why did the food that it ate evolve?
When did it get an instinct to drink water?
When and why did water evolve?
The same questions apply for the pre-rooster. Did it evolve into a bird around the same time as the hen? Why did it involve? Did the process take millions of years? How did the creature reproduce in the meantime? How long was its lifespan if the process took millions of years?
There are a few other questions about which evolved first--its heart, blood, or blood vessels. How did the heart work if there was no blood or blood vessels?
I'm sure Aaron, like most believes in Darwinian evolution, will say that questions show that I don't understand evolution. That would be true. Nobody does.

Claims Surrounding Ark Encounter
The influence of evolutionary thinking in people is often seen in social media comments that are made after we post articles or videos about the on-going construction of our Ark Encounter project. When some people see us using cranes, trucks, and power tools to build the Ark, they complain that Noah could never have built the Ark without all these things because he didn’t have them. They automatically assume that Noah had to build the Ark with just his bare hands or used a few simple tools. This is evidence of evolutionary thinking which assumes that pre-Flood man was unintelligent and uncivilized. But we don’t know for sure what kind of technology Noah and those maybe working for him could have used. After all, they had over 1,600 years to develop technology, and with people living to be vast ages. Imagine how much more technology we would have if past and present geniuses lived to be hundreds of years old!

Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton call Planned Parenthood a "healthcare provider," but the facts tell an appallingly different story. You ask the question as though I have some sort of blind faith that God exists. I don’t. My faith in God doesn’t rest on His existence. It rests on His integrity to keep His promises.
When I look at a high-rise building, I don’t have faith that there as a builder. Rather, I KNOW there was one, because buildings don’t build themselves. That’s just common sense. I also KNOW that a painter exists because I see the painting. Again, paintings don’t paint themselves.
And so the simple logic carries over to creation/nature being empirical evidence of the Creator. It is scientifically impossible for nature to have made itself. It’s also impossible for it to be eternal (because of entropy).
I knew that God existed before I came to know Him (in April of 1972).
So your question is, if atheists could provide me with evidence of the scientific impossibility that nothing created everything, would I say that there is no God?

But if you read the genealogies of Matthew chapter one, you will see that she wasn't even given the honor of having her name mentioned. Rahab the harlot was, but not Bathsheba. She is referred to as "her who had been the wife of Uriah."
Had she walked in the fear of the Lord she perhaps would have said to David, "I will not do this thing and sin against God. I will not cause my king to commit this sin. I would rather die." Instead, her supposed consent led to the death of her beloved husband and the fall of the King.
Perhaps it was innocence that caused her to bathe in a place where David could see her. While I don't think women should wear a full covering, it's wise for them to be modest, and remember that there are a million thoughtless moths out there who will be drawn to the flame.
For more than 40 years I have followed what the Bible says about food, rather than what the "experts" have said. When eggs were demonized way back in the 1980's I kept eating them almost daily because Jesus said that they are good food to give to children (see Luke 11:12-13). The Maker knows best because He made them (kids and butter--see John 1:1-3). Now eggs are back in the good books.
When butter was maligned and margarine was said to be healthy, I kept spreading the butter because Jesus ate butter (see Isaiah 7:14-15). He knows best because He made it (see John 1:1-3).
When vegetarians preached health through a meatless diet, I saw that Jesus said that the Prodigal's father celebrated his son's return with a meat barbeque (see Luke 15:23). And He didn't add a warning about the risk of hardened arteries.

MY RESPONSE TO THE DONALD TRUMP ARTICLE
Greetings, due to the incredibly high volume of accusations, suspicion, and hate that I have received in the last 24 hours from folks around the USA regarding the recent article I wrote that was published in Charisma Magazine, I want to bring clarity to a few false and misguided statements people are making toward what was prophesied. Also, I will not attempt to defend myself here, I will leave that up to the Lord Jesus now and when I stand before Him and give an account for every word I've spoken. The goal of this post is to strictly help those who read the article and have questions and what largely appears to be a gross misinterpretation of what was published.
What the article does NOT say:
1. Donald Trump will be the next US President.
2. Donald Trump will be the GOP nominee.
3. That I (Jeremiah Johnson) personally support and endorse Donald Trump's personal moral decisions or anything he has publicly said regarding politics (including the past).
4. Donald Trump is a devout Christian and His life aligns with biblical principles.
What the article does say:
1. Donald Trump is going to be used by God as a trumpet in America to expose darkness and perversion.
2. Christians must look past/through his bantering and listen for the truth that God is going to make known through him.
3. God can use anyone He chooses to fulfill His purposes and plans in the earth. Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus, the Jews who crucified Jesus, or Donald Trump among many.
After reading through about 1,000 pieces of mail in the last 24 hours, here is my conclusion:
Some Christians appear to be absolutely infuriated at the thought or prophetic word that God is going to use Donald Trump as a Trumpet to expose darkness and bring truth because of His moral background and political views. Perhaps God not being limited, subjected, and dependent to who human beings think He should use for His glory reveals their own issues with God, not a prophetic word.
I, like many of you, was shocked by the word I received regarding Donald Trump. Trust me when I say it was given with fear and trembling. Again, I am not called to prophesy what I think or what my opinion is. I simply deliver the word of the Lord and encourage the saints to test and judge what has been spoken.
I will publicly repent to the body of Christ if what was prophesied does not come to pass.
I pray that what has been written here will help bring clarity to any viewers or listeners that had questions or possibly misunderstood what was written. God bless you and let's continue to keep our ears and eyes open to what the Spirit is saying in this hour.

It's very kind of you to think of us, but we’ve received what the Bible calls "a sound mind." It's because of the sound mind that we have in Christ that we don't kill each other, or lie to or steal from each other.
Neither do we ruin our marriages through adultery, have our children killed in the womb, or get STD's through fornication. We don't need the poison of alcohol, nor do we need to clutch onto the crutch of a cigarette or cloud our brains with marijuana. We are no longer deceived by the unscientific fairytale of evolution, or believe in the impossibility that nothing created everything.
We don't even believe in secular "therapy." This is because psychologists have no standard by which they can measure sanity. We do. God's Word is sufficient for our every physical and psychological need.
One other thing. We no longer experience guilt or fear of death (as you do--we have the inside story on you and the rest of humanity) because God has forgiven our sins and given us everlasting life as a free gift.
I'm not being facetious, but I hope that you will come to your senses, repent of your sins and trust in Jesus. If you do that, a blind and insane world will think you are nuts, but that comes with the territory. God will help you to handle it.

The Scriptures say, “My soul shall make her boast in the Lord, the humble shall hear of it and be glad.” This proud world isn’t glad to hear anyone boasting about God, or giving Him praise. He sends rain on drought-stricken California and no one in the media gives Him a drop of thanks. Someone almost gets eaten by a shark, and few truly thank God that he is alive.
Watch now and all the proud God-haters (those who don’t believe He exists) jump in and blame Him for tragedies. They do this because they don’t understand that there are at least two wills of God. There is His perfect will and there is His permissive will. In His permissive will, He allows people to be struck by lightning, eaten by sharks, to fall off cliffs, to get cancer, and He permits people to die at a rate of 54 million every year. But no death, no tragedy and no blessing happens outside of His permissive will—“For from Him, and through Him and to Him are all things.” Not a single ray of sun finds its way 93 million miles from its surface to the earth, without God allowing it to find its mark.
He has permitted you to hear this. May you humble yourself and bow to His perfect will by obeying the gospel. It is not His will that any perish, but that all come to repentance.
