Hey Democrats and Leftists: Eat a bowl of sh*t.
You lost; like you always lose, like you will always lose, and that time you spent on trying to remove the greatest President of The United States since Abraham Lincoln himself, you could have spent helping the American economy and people, like you could and should have; oh wait, Donald J. Trump was busy doing that for you because you're all a bunch of useless, weak, pathetic, immature children who were hung up on losing a fair election.
Another four years of of Donald J. Trump PLEASE!
I cannot wait to see how he humiliates the Democrats and Leftists even further.
This is the Presidents game, and you pathetic pieces of crap will never get one up on Trump. EVER. ROFL.
We will not thank you for wasting America's time.
Get wrecked you lame douche bags, get wrecked time and time again!
DONALD. J TRUMP CANNOT LOSE.
Mark.

charming… I appreciate the irony of this guy calling anyone that doesn’t worship Trump, the guy who’s a manchild who throws temper tantrums whenever he doesn’t get his way, as being ‘useless, weak, pathetic, immature children’ right… sure we’re the immature ones… it sure isn’t you who whole journal entry is just one giant temper tantrum at anyone daring to defy ‘God-Emperah!’ Trump.
Yes they lost. Of course I think the democrats knew they would lose. You see this impeachment wasn't about removing Trump, the Senate would never remove Trump, it was about showing the hypocrisy and blind behavior of the republican party to the people. And that happened. This may end up hurting the republicans more then the democrats. Even if Trump wins in 2020 you may have a lot of republicans losing.
Children’s shows and sports movies are going to need some tweaking in America going forward to reflect the values embraced here. The heroes aren’t the plucky underdogs banding together against a bully, using grit and determination to win a rigged game contrasted as the moral victors over cheaters, or doing the right thing no matter how difficult it is because what they’re fighting for is more important than hollow comforts and empty praise… the hero is whoever simply ends up on top at the end.
If the bully comes back after being taken down a peg with twenty friends and baseball bats he is now the hero. If the rival team dopes up, bribes the judges, and arranges for an accident to keep the underdogs from the game they are now the heroes. If the judges just pick a favourite because their kid was on the team they’re the heroes. If the hero sells out to the big corporation and throws the game betraying their friends, family, the orphanage in danger of being shut down, and the little baby Jesus that told them they believe in the hero they’re still the hero because they’re on top after the CEO takes them under their wing.
Winning is everything, even if your prize is the slow erosion of everything in your life that was worth having. There is no right or wrong as long as you’ve won.
Enjoy your despot. I’m certain the ghosts of quite a number of European monarchs, African warlords, communist dictators, and Saddam Hussein are feeling pretty damned smug and vindicated right about now along with Vladimir Putin and everyone ever designated as the bad guy in Call of Duty or Modern Warfare games.
Dear Canada,
Could you please invade the United States again in the case that Donald Trump gets re-elected (or fixes the election so that he is “re-elected”, or simply refuses to leave office…)
Sincerely,
The Rest of the World
@Passerby :
That sounds uncannily like the “Lord Potter” subgenre of Harry Potter “fan”fic (actually, hatefic), whose Designated Heroes are who I was primarily thinking about when writing about the worst Mary Sues I’ve seen , and especially Partially Kissed Hero , the One Lord Potter Fic To Rule Them All. And indeed, their authors quite universally sound like they’d be Trump fans.
greatest President of The United States since Abraham Lincoln himself
I could laugh at this, but Comparing Trump to Lincoln is an insult to everything Lincoln accomplished. If Trump lived in that time, he would have supported the Confederacy and their slavery 110%, no doubt about it. Trump is like the incarnation of everything the Confederacy stood for.
who were hung up on losing a fair election.
Trump LOST the popular vote, you idiot, but he was still put in office. That alone shows how broken and unfair the US election system is.
DONALD. J TRUMP CANNOT LOSE.
Can someone please post some more examples about Trump’s “reverse midas touch”? You know, how the idiot practically fails at everything he tries?
I'm pretty sure the Orange One will win again. Probably a third time, too, his cult will simply declare the law which prohibts that to be fake news.
Not really based on anything, this is simply an assumtion from pessimism.
If Trump is reelected, will he get to do the full four years of a second term or will he
- finally become so demented he gets declared unfit and is removed from office?
- die of, perhaps, a stroke?
- [any other possibility here]
@Malingspann #28058
finally become so demented he gets declared unfit and is removed from office?
At this rate, Trump can become a complete, drooling vegetable and his supporters would still praise him and keep him in power…
The dumpster fire won.
And the people who will suffer the most, are cheering wildly.
Today’s modern “conservatives” are barking reactionaries, who long for the ’50s.
Whether the 1950s, or the 1850s, or the 1750s, does not matter to them.
These people would set their own home on fire to ruin the neighbor’s garden party, and crow when they choke on the smoke, because the neighbors are choking as well.
DONALD. J TRUMP CANNOT LOSE
Before I answer that, counterpoint: The Democrats knew they would lose: but put out this information - inevitably for public scrutiny as well as legal - at perhaps the right time. Because way before yesterday, there's this:

And now for the $64 trillion question, OP: How do you know he's not the only one...?!
...besides, even if he wins later this year: so? Donald Fart's merely riding on the back of Obama's policies & positive economic & socio-political effects. Where's that 'Wall'? As for a 'Legacy', his Space Farce = Ronnie Raygun's 'Star Wars'.
And in late January 2024: that's it.
Scary, eh...?!
@Creativerealms #28039
Exactly; It was a gambit and a BRILLIANT one.
The Democrats HAD to show how bad the GOP is. It would be a win-win if it went either way….Either Trump gets convicted or he’s acquitted despite being obviously guilty.
It may not change the minds of the MAGA-true-believers but it would move those on the fence, fellow Dems and the few conservatives who aren’t deranged.
Besides; If Trump was convicted, we’d end up with Pence and that’s like accomplishing nothing. Pence may not act like an idiot but he believes the same garbage Trump does. He’s a calmer, duller, clearer-thinking Trump….all of the regressive awfulness but none of the toddler-like buffoonery.
Nope; The REAL removal will be in November.
"DONALD. J TRUMP CANNOT LOSE."
I guess FOX didn't tell Mark about Trump's court loss for Trump University and his admission it was a scam. I guess they didn't inform him of Trump being found guilty of fraud with his charities in New York. I guess no one told him just how many bankruptcies Trump's had. How no money lender in the US will give him anything.
The man's a fraud, but he's a fraud that's useful to the GOP right now. If he wasn't, he'd have been hung out to dry quite quickly. As it is, the impeachment made it clear he's just a bully.
Pig Vomit already lost, because he never won in the first place. He is illegitimate, so he can’t be “re-elected”. He will be re-installed, but not re-elected. He is a loser in every measurable way, because he can’t be anything else. And he will always have that asterisk by his name-forever impeached. He was acquitted-not exonerated. The GOTP, the party of angry, bitter old white people is slowly becoming the minority & they are losing power. All this bullshit was their last attempt at stopping the inevitable, so the withered old white, bible thumping men can still boss everyone around. I think they may have succeeded for now, but they can’t stop progress completely. They might as well tell the sun to stop rising. But whatever comes out of this nightmare, we all know that they will eventually die, many of them sooner rather than later. And they’re starting with that useless old bag of shit calling itself Rush Limbaugh. I’ll print out his obituary & hang it on my fridge.
We all knew the dickless Senate would do what it did. We prepared for it, but now we have names. We knew the worthless stormtrumpers out there would be crowing, unable to make any real arguments to back up their position. All this nonsense does is further prove that republicans are unworthy to wear the title of “human” & should be swept into the trash bin of history.
@KeithInc. #28068
Nobody told him about Trump's stint as a team owner in the United States Football League either, apparently. (Where he was one of the owners who urged the league to try to compete more directly with the NFL, which shortly led to their demise)
Since I'm neither, here is my take: I now see Republicans as enablers of crime and weak on national security. Many of them acknowledged Trump did wrong. Yet voted to keep him in office. Dershowitz made it clear president could do whatever was necessary to get reelected. Problem is now Democrats can use that since Republicans set the rules. McConnell said he wouldn't have our elections guarded against hacking. This impeachment was lose/lose for Republicans. If Trump was removed we'd have to look into the party for their roles. If not, well, as stated we see Republicans as the enablers and hypocrites they are. Collins is now least popular in her state. McConnell too.
Why is that impeachment thing decided by the parliament, anyways? They are politicians, not jurists! And likely, politicians biased in favour of the impeachee.
@Peacemonger373 #28107
I think you are completely missing the point - nothing of what you said is relevant to my question. Of course, the proximate explanation is that it is how it is written in the Constitution. But my question was for an ultimate explanation - what the hell the legislators thinking were thinking when they set up the impeachment process in the first place?
@Bastethotep #28109
that I have no glue, I mean, the Republican dominate (slightly) the Senate, what do you think is going to happen? that’s why I didn’t care much for it because I saw it as being fairly pointless
@Bastethotep #28077
Apart from being a jury of peers as would fit with a normal trial it was originally assumed that those elected would be people of intellectual substance, long-term thinkers, and generally respected by their voters based on competence and the ability to lead in accordance with what they understood their best interests to be. Not self-concerned morons who thought they’d be living life on easy street elected by the easily impressed and beholden to a dogmatic party line under threat of expulsion and political irrelevance.
Moreover I don’t think America’s founders expected America’s political landscape to become a fight and false dichotomy between only two viable political parties with no meaningful challengers and certainly none that can be expected to be neutral to the conflict as even those ostensibly running as “independants” tend to have to rely on alliances with one of the established parties. They were generally counting on both a diversity of political views existing and for the general populace to always maintain some modicum of sense and self-preservation and remain invested in keeping the people they vote for accountable. Not a society ruled by their id electing their representatives as a tiresome obligation they don’t want to think about when it’s time to do it and stop thinking about the moment it’s done and make their choice based on a hereditary loyalty or entertainment value as if voting on an idol show and leaving all the thinking up to them because it “isn’t their problem” like so many other things and if nobody likes it to just vote for a different idiot from the same party next run because it’s just a couple of years.
By the way, the funny part about the USFL thing I mentioned earlier: They filed an antitrust lawsuit against the NFL and won, actually…but in the end were awarded a grand total of $3! That’s a Pyrrhic victory if there ever was one.
@frogflayer #28142
The fact he was afraid to cast that vote and that everyone knew his fears were entirely justified are both a sign of principle that he followed through and the most damning indictment of the Senate possible. He might go down in history as the last Republican as opposed to one of the collection of spineless bribe receptacles held in thrall to a demagogue that currently bears the name of a political party today.
Also it’s refreshing to see someone actually mean it when they say they let their faith guide them to make a painful decision. Others who have used it as a justification are either excusing themselves from what they profess is moral and are focused on an impact that forces others to cater to their beliefs or else playing the rubes because it gets them what they want. This was a man who did not want his God to see him as a liar after swearing an oath and made an actual sacrifice to live up to that. Sacrifice is something the Trump family knows jack shit about.
@Passerby :
Apart from being a jury of peers as would fit with a normal trial Ugh, don’t get me started on THAT thing. A bunch of random layspeople without any training in matters of law and of bias and fallacy are not bloody qualified to judge in a criminal case! Seriously, from here in continental Europe, your entire Anglosphere legal system looks so utterly archaic, nonsensical and idiotic, to put it mildly.
@Malingspann #28058
Possibly assaninated by one of his wingnut followers with some sort of assault rifle.....
Honestly, no matter how much I HATE that man and his family, I hope he wont die or get killed. I want to see him taken down by the legal system like the rotten tangerine he is.
@ArkBien #28200
I’m still hoping for a stroke or a rage induced coronary. Now that the dickless senate has allowed him to waddle, not walk, from all this, he’ll feel even more invincible & will start pounding even more KFC, Whoppers & crushed Adderall. I want to watch him to turn red, then purple, start gasping, clutch at his flabby man titties & collapse face first on the floor. Maybe he’ll land on his insane yet doting walking dildo/VP, or his botoxed whore. His weight crushes her & her breast implants launch out of her chest cavity like flying wine bottle corks, hitting a reporter in eye. All of this happens on camera & will be watched upwards of 7 billion times on You Tube.
@Bastethotep #28109
I don’t know why I never thought of this when I read it the first time, but when the impeachment procedure was first determine, political parties had not yet become an issue in the United States, many of the founders despising the idea of political parties and what party systems had done in many European countries, and didn’t expect that any kind of party system was going to form, especially not one nearly as entrenched, and actually fully officially endorsed as now. With the current state of affairs, not only with political parties running everything, but only two parties at that, yes this is a horrible fucking idea.
However, in a genuinely party free (yeah, right, like that will ever happen) system, it’s actually a pretty good thought, having the actual elected representatives representing their states in determining what the executive has done, and how appropriate or otherwise it may be. It would be expected that enough honesty would exist in such a system that political cronyism would be unlikely to overcome a sense of justice and desire for law. Unfortunately, we have a strictly controlled two party system, where cronyism rules the day.
Confused?
