If feminism really cared about women, why the hell are you not fighting for women in other country like saudi arabia and such cuz you know? WOMEN GET KILLED OVER THERE. Instead you waste your time talking about shitty thing that already been debunked such as gender pay

And as for the lgbt community, if you really cared about gay people, then why are you not fighting for other country that literally legalize in killing/sentencing gay people? rather than shaking your ass in shitty parades?

Women get killed over here too. By pushing for women’s rights here, and leading by example, and pointing out that they are medieval, we are fighting for their rights too. Our former Foreign Minster said, for all to hear, that Saudi Arabia are medieval. THAT is a feminist government. But yes, we can always do a bit more, but that doesn’t mean that what we do is meaningless, it’s not ALL or NOTHING. No-one can help everyone, but everyone can help someone.

Gender pay? You mean that men are paid more for the same job, even if the women have worked longer at it and have longer education for it? That’s a fact, that’s never been debunked.

The same goes for LGBT. Through leading by example, we can push others to follow, or at least to make it look very bad to do the opposite. When we make business deals and give charity, we can push for equality, for human rights to everyone.

But, of course, you are now covering your ears and shouting “LALALALALA, I can’t hear you”, and you’d still not understand that no-one can help everyone, but everyone can help someone. Even YOU can help someone, just by pointing out the error, when you see someone acting sexist or homophobic.

Gay people are PART of the parades, you silly bint! It’s the homophobes and sexists that are looking “even more bad”.

Hello, fallacy of relative privation!

No, we very much care about human rights abuses in other parts of the world, we know that they are much worse than here, and we want them to solve these problems as well. But our ressources and time are finite, especially since most of us are not professional activists, but have other occupations, with activism being something we have to balance with our other free time activities. As individuals, there is simply no way to directly tackle deeply entranched problems in far-away countries. However, we support local initiatives and international groups with the ressources and dedicated lobbyists and social workers who are actually able to do something about that, and focus our own personal activism on local problems that are easier to solve and are more likely to affect us or our loved ones directly.

There is no shame in admitting that you cannot solve all problems by yourself, in getting help or even a champion when you need it. This is true in private life - after all, that’s what doctors, lawyers and repairmen are for -, and it is even more true for the world’s problems.

OK, what atrocities or injustices in other countries are YOU fighting against?

We have the power to enact change in our own countries. Plusif we go into other countries to enact change, it tends to leave a bad taste in peoples' mouths. Just look at America's foreign policy.

Sure, give me an army, an international immunity from actors multiple, like Russia or the US itself and yeah, I’d drown the fucking Saudi slave drivers in their own blood(same for Quatar and such), if that is what you wish to hear. Or we can be realistic and try to at least force them to give us up their “undesirables”, instead of plainly murdering them. Won’t happen either, as long as they perceive women as resources and sexual minorities as perfect scapegoats, still would at least be a possible option, if we forced them about it enough. Now, as for our own “inaction” I had a gal I personally knew go fight for the Kurds and die in that war. This is very much a war for women’s freedom out there. I fought for the LGBT+ rights myself when I lived back in Poland, in fact had to move, to avoid having the “anti-terrorist” squad “knock” on my door at 3 am at some point, since this is what they do, if they find you’ve been offending the religious authorities there. So yeah, do shut your face, there’s some folks here who actually fought for their rights and their lives and a little reactionary twat will not be the judge of us.
