Virtually everyone is saying that the Indictment is about Election Interference & should not have been brought, except Bill Barr, a “disgruntled former employee” & lazy Attorney General who was weak & totally ineffective. He doesn’t mean what he’s saying, it’s just MISINFORMATION. Barr’s doing it because he hates “TRUMP” for firing him. He was deathly afraid of the Radical Left when they said they would Impeach him. He knows the Indictment is Bull…. Turn off Fox News when that “Gutless Pig” is on!

Yeah, and only YOU have a monopoly on compulsively spreading blatant lies, right Trump?
Barr’s doing it because he hates “TRUMP” for firing him.
Talking about yourself in the third person is not the sign of a healthy (or “stable genius”) mind…
“…& lazy Attorney General who was weak & totally ineffective”
Odd how often you hire the best, but then fire the incompetent and worthless.
I am curious about one thing, though.
If he is reelected, the POTUS security clearance is ‘everything.’ He has the ultimate need-to-know, so he can see everything there is to see.
However. As a person with a security clearance, can _I_ hand stuff over to someone i KNOW will mishandle it? I mean, it’s part of my job to safeguard calssified in my possession, so i might refuse to show him the papers that it’s my job to show the president.
I think.
Formerly everyone is saying that the Electment is about Interference In Diction & should not have been bought, except Rill Barb, a “disgruntled lazy employee” & virtual Attorney General who was ineffectively & total wreak. He doesn’t say what he’s meaning, it’s just FIRM ONION STRAIT. Barb’s doing it because he fates “MUMP” for hiring him. He was the lady afraid of the Radial Cleft when they said they would Indict him. He knows the Impeachment is Full…. Turn off Box News when that “Putless Gig” is on!

I think even the US President can’t see SCI (Sensitive Compartmentalized Information, AKA “Above Top Secret”) documents without being cleared first, but even so if denied he/she/they could probably just keep replacing the relevant department head until the department associated with the document complies. It would look really bad to do that though. (I might be wrong about this though.)
Regardless, you definitely can’t knowingly give a document to someone whose security level isn’t high enough without it being cleared by the department head… but to someone who does have the appropriate clearance, technically outranks you (even if they’re not from the same department), and you know that there’s a high risk of them stealing it or otherwise mishandling it? I have no idea what rules cover that sort of situation, and there might not be any, but that’s a real nightmare situation where you might be screwed even if there’s a clear right thing to do within the rules and you do that right thing.

SCI isn’t actually “above top secret”, but is rather particular documents which are designated to be handled in extremely strict fashion, inside only a contained area (SCIF, or Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility), a designated location in many bases and government offices which are very tightly secured against intrusion. SCI documents are generally meant to be viewed in special briefings, copies may be made (but the SCI copies do NOT leave under any circumstance, only approved and documented copies of them). I’m pretty sure following the briefing, they’ll be destroyed in the vast majority of cases (though @KeithInc. might be able to answer that better).
All that said … even having a high enough clearance isn’t enough for most people to actually see the documents. Even someone with top secret clearance has to actually apply for access to specific documents, and has to show some reason they actually need it. Even a captain/colonel in charge of a ship/base cannot simply access all secret/top secret documents, even about their ship/base. The Office of the President, however … has special considerations. Though I’m sure a number of things are still withheld, from any President, they do have access to pretty much anything, and have to have that access.
I don’t doubt in Trump’s case, there was plenty more than usual specifically withheld from him, and because he tends to surround himself with sycophants barely more aware of general human behavior than he is, it was probably pretty easy to do.

I just realized, if the President can’t touch Way_High classified data, he can just declassify it and then demand it.
Of course the declassification process makes sure that everyone else who holds that information knows it’s out in the open, now, and can take appropriate steps.
I did have a clearance above TS for a long time. They cover how to deal with people you KNOW are going to fuck it up. They cover people you SUSPECT will fuck it up. Don’t give it to them, turn them in, scream bloody murder.
They don’t cover ‘we turned them in and nothing happened.’
I find it hilarious that Bonespurs didn’t look for a lawyer for this araignment until this weekend.
And side-splitting that he can’t find anyone.
Due to his habits of:
*Not paying his lawyers (esp. if they lose)
*Not listening to his lawyers’ advice (esp. the ‘shut the fuck up!’ part)
*Lying to his lawyers
*Wanting his lawyers to lie for him
*the fact that associating with him in any capacity is a negative mark on your reputation and future job prospects
And, you know, because the case against him is pretty fucking solid.
Confused?
