Letting them redefine language is a mistake, we agree there, but at the same time if you want to make inroads you need to do it in a way they will understand and accept.

Well, straight people aren’t ALWAYS procreating every time they have sex, ya know? Things like birth control and prophylactics do exist, and sometimes they just can’t, like the man is sterile or the woman is infertile. So maybe they can’t or just don’t want to, maybe even both. And of course, the “hedonistic” things that I’m guessing Chris here is thinking of as “gay/lesbian sex” are all mostly things that straight people can and often will do.

33-year old straight man here. Attracted very much to women with big boobies. Haven’t procreated at all yet and don’t plan to. What I do do, however, is enjoy the pornographic arts more than I probably should. Also, I like delicious food, play videogames, and sleep in whenever I can; things that most would also count as “hedonism”.

Exactly. Also, bisexual people can potentially procreate with a person they are attracted to. This just shows how little they know about our community.
ETA: so can pansexual people and some that identify as queer. And many of us do choose to have kids, while others (like me) choose not to.
