Before actual science, natural philosophy was seminal, corrupt and dictated by the authorities of the epoch, a good reason to consider such authorities illegitimate. Also, unlike with your particular doctrines, many Christians have no problem with the acceptance of reality. Your misrepresentation of science as anti-religion propaganda is a false conspiracy theory based on ignorance of how science works and what it does and an argument to isolate and manipulate your victims. Of course, many educated people will reject your claims that an old iron age myth is scientific, because it never was, neither is the particular YEC pseudoscientific arguments reinterpreting those old myths and misrepresenting science, an isolationist doctrine of your particular cult... Even mainstream Christian theology understands that.
…so a church would never so much as think of allowing anywhere near it the remains of an Atheist? :
