Glinner posting a trans man’s post-op bottom half without permission just proves that “Gender Critical’s” don’t see trans people being worthy of decency or respect. Ridiculing trans people for having procedures that has nothing to do with GC’s is unnecessarily cruel.

The same people who want you to support “gender affirming care” are panicked and horrified you might find out what that actually entails. This is why they use these childish words. They don’t want you to know they cut off a slab of a woman’s thigh and sew it elsewhere.

“The same people who want you to support “gender affirming care””
You mean the people that support the individual having maximum control over their body? Including reproduction, plumbing, and privacy? Those people.
“are panicked and horrified you might find out what that actually entails.”
I can go to any number of fucking websites that will list the entire treatment. Some even have diagrams!
This is not horrific.
But of course, you want it to be.
Your side doesn’t really have a rational argument, so you’re trying to force an emotional decision, shock, horror.
Same as abortionists publishing horrifying pictures of a dead fetus. OR anti-smokers showing the insides of smoker’s lungs.
Grow the fuck up, bubbles.
Most people find surgery and/or the healing aftermath (usually both) to be gross. *Any* kind of surgery. I’ve seen people attempt to show pictures of surgery (usually cosmetic) to dissuade others from doing the same, as if the mere revulsion was reason enough not to do it. It’s kind of like how some militant vegans try to gross out omnivores to get them to convert, it very rarely works.
I suspect that there’s more to it than that, though. Perhaps showing the immediate aftermath of a first stage vaginoplasty to evoke “Look, you/they will be stuck with ugly freak genitals forever!” (I’m not going to check if that’s the case this time, out of respect for privacy) it hasn’t healed yet, and vaginoplasty is usually done in two stages, so it’s not finished yet. Regardless of the specifics, this kind of thing is fundamentally dishonest.
[Edit: On a re-read, it appears that this is a trans man getting a phalloplasty. Apologies, they usually go after trans women, so I assumed. General point still stands, though.]

But smoking is wrong! Abortion is something to support, but do you think smoking is good?
Smoking should be phased out in a manner similar to Hawaii’s proposed bill: every year that passes after 2023, increase the smoking age by 1 until only the very oldest can smoke. Same for e-cigs, they are just as bad.
Smoke weed not nicotine
Both of my maternal grandparents died of lung cancer. My paternal grandparents are on their way. I’ve studied the science, there is no excuse to allow smoking.

My condolences but smoking, as direly unhealthy is still a choice some people get to make. Obviously you can and should ban smoking in public places but inside their property, people should get to smoke(and do any drugs they wish to), as they want.
Why are you advocating for forcefully taking such basic freedoms to make unhealthy choices for yourself away? Do you want to do same with junk foods?
“Smoke weed not nicotine”
Some smoke both and yeah, you have no moral right to force “protect” people against their will in cases like this. Being a functional adult in the Western society means you have to live with people excercising their freedoms in ways you may throughoutly disapprove of. You shouldn’t even dare to think about banning these freedoms to “protect” others, you may think yourself a saviour but you’re only pushing nanny-glowed fascism there, my folks.
Confused?
