A doctor in India is planning to transplant a womb into a transgender woman, possibly enabling her to carry children, a report says.
New Delhi-based surgeon Dr Narendra Kaushik plans to perform the surgery at his clinic using a donated organ from a living or dead donor, according to The Mirror.
“Every transgender woman wants to be as female as possible,” Kaushik told the paper.

Honestly, I don’t see much difference between that and a hair-transplant or a kidney transplant. If you’re compatible and nobody else needs it, why not? What’s so horrifying about that anyway?

Sex and gender aren’t the same thing and attacking those who advocate for the rights of transgender people as sex denialists is intellectually dishonest.

This reminded me of creationists who go “There has been found NO fossils of transitional forms!” because they think that a transitional form would be something like
Kirk Cameron’s Crocoduck.

So, when they don’t submit themselves to surgery then you complain they’re just cosplayers wanting to intrude on female spaces then when they try to experiment actual female live events then you still make the same claims. Transsexuals can’t just win with you…

Correct. In TERF ideology, the starting premise is that trans women are fetishists, from which TERFs conclude that anything a trans woman does is therefore driven by her fetish. So, two paths that contradict each other are both a result of fetishism, because everything always is. There are no alternative options and no ways to prove the assertion wrong that a TERF would accept.

I hate dealing with people like this. Nobody says X, nobody believes X, nobody believes anyone says X except morons like you, and just because I/we/they “admit” that X is not (or at least not entirely) true does not mean your understanding of the subject is correct or that I/we/they lied.

Also related: Misunderstanding words or concepts and then rephrasing things to have an entirely different meaning based on that misunderstanding does not show that you have some sort of deep insight in the subject.

The linchpin to the whole thing is their belief that AFAB and AMAB people are fundamentally different, and thus require different standards which to judge their identities by. Without that, their justifications that trans women are really men, if correct, would mean that cis women are really men as well… and that men, both cis and trans, are really women.

In this particular argument, the OP is basically asking “if you believe sex is not the same as gender, then why are you acting as if sex is not the same as gender”. Most likely because they couldn’t remove or forgot to remove that core assumption from their conception of the opposing view. If this were a math equation, then they’ve got a positive/negative sign flipped somewhere.
