Y’know OP, I’m reminded of Hololive ID’s Kureiji Ollie. Sure, she’s a zombie who destroys ears and is addicted to the game “Apex Legends”, but she’s such a Maths freak she’s been lauded by a lecturer in her country’s top university for popularising what he’s a Professor of. She had a stream which consisted of her typing out Pi: from memory. Algebra is as easy as breathing to her. What that form of Mathematics originated from.

"Science" with the goal of affirming a particular interpretation of a particular text would never be science, it would be pseudoscientific apology. What you're doing. The path to reality denial for idealism, not the study of nature and reality discovery, including the mitigation of common human fallacies, to avoid false conclusions, what actual science is about. This is either a case of "Hovind doesn't even know that he doesn't know", or "Hovind lies on purpose".
