Just to add to my last comment…ya know, the Chinese have a lunar calendar, don’t they? Chinese New Year is on a different date on our Gregorian calendar every year. (apparently, we’re in the “year of the Dragon” now, which I gotta say, sounds awesome!) And then of course, there’s the whole thing about the Julian vs the Gregorian calendars, and how it caused a big ol stink when Great Britain adopted the Gregorian one in 1752 and thereby had to skip 11 days! If you think the twice-a-year clock change because of Daylight Savings Time is weird, just imagine waking up and you’re suddenly in the middle of next week, lol.

If a calendar based on the sun and moon is so perfect, than tell me why Easter (the date of which is based on the moon) falls on a different date every year on the (solar) Gregorian calendar…
