So, I remember a post by a girl who discovered she was a lesbian at 16. Years ago, she was reading an Anne McCaffrey novel and two of the characters are a romantic couple. And she distinctly remembers shouting, “Wait! That’s an OPTION!?!?”
I read the same book. I did not become a lesbian.
It’s not that the ideas are put on the kids, it’s that they come to understand feelings they already have.
