When you say ‘get ahead,’ but close your business, hide your money, limit the people… Those don’t seem consistent.

But, does the red state WANT you if you won’t open a business and support the economy?
Because the government spending is going to stop. Any federal agencies, their payrolls are going away. All those used-car lots near any military bases are going to shut down. All the hookers, same-same. All those military spouses with jobs off base, gone, with their payroll. All those jobs ON the military bases, gone. Any government contractors will either close or move their facilities to a blue state. That’s a lot of payroll and rent money.
If there’s a factory in the red state, they’ll have to consider where their market is. And if Texas (for example) Secedes, they can’t really afford the current standard of living without the government spending. So any car manufacturer will probably want a plant in the states with disposable income.
