More suffering then the flooding of all coastal cities in addition to famine because crops can no longer be grown in the USA?
I mean that not as an inevitable outcome but as a possibility in the future that we must choose between meat production in great style like now (which is a driver for climate change) and the scenario I put forth
Also for a few other arguments:
I agree that the comparison to slavery is overblown but I think it’s more in the line of „there were customs that were seen as moral an are now immoral so this can happen again“
If meat would be harder to get for you because of the medical system that mostly says that your system I flawed (I think we can all agree on this) and not per se the Solution but of course it was just an idea of mine
„We are build omnivores“ is a terrible argument since humans are also build to live up to mid 30s and living in tribes of a few dozen people. I think we all can agree what we are build to and what we can achieve are two distinct things
