Good, good, good. Common sense is prevailing. If children under 18 cannot decide for themselves to accept help for not wanting to be homosexual, then they should not be allowed to decide they are being deceived by a heartless and deceptive Satan who is laughing all the way to the distortion and deprivation bank to screw up as many people's lives as possible.

Of course the ACLU would oppose the law because that is there modus operandi. Oppose anything that tells the truth.

Yes, children under 18 are not trusted to be able to make life-changing decisions. Which is why, if they believe themselves to be transgender, they are given puberty blockers. It gives them the option to make a decision later, whether they want to go through the puberty of the gender they were assigned as at birth or not. What those assholes want to do, and what you are supporting, is taking away of this possibility for them, and forcing a decision on them, one they will not be happy with if they really are trans, and which will majorly affect them later in life, whether simply in the form of unwanted, irreversible physical changes to their bodies they will be forced to endure, or psychological issues stemming from those and being denied the treatment they truly need.

Given the way these fundies usually talk, this part makes the entire sentence make no sense. “The children cannot decide they’ve been deceived and need Jesus” is what it really sounds like.

Common sense, as the likes of Roger Marks uses the term: “Life is to be like what you see in sitcoms such as Happy Days or Leave It To Beaver! ANYTHING else is deception by a heartless and deceptive Satan!”

You can’t alter your brain. If you are attracted to women instead of men, then you are; there is nothing to do about that. The only thing you can do is torture the kids to make them suppress their feelings.

If your brain is a man’s brain, you can’t make it be a woman’s brain, to fit the woman’s body you were born with. These things develop at different times in the womb, and if the womb is flushed with the “wrong” hormones or enzymes, there can be a mismatch.

THIS is why adults are not allowed to torture their children into pretending to be straight, but why trans-children can be approved for gender-realignment treatments.

I’d say you shouldn’t be allowed to push a religion onto a minor. Wait until they are old enough to make their own decisions about this. But, then there would be much fewer religious people in the world, and we can’t have that, can we?

ACLU opposes anything that violates human rights.

The truth is that there is no Satan.
