To every person that got vaccinated and is wondering why they still have to wear masks—you’re forgiven for doubting those of us who insisted from the beginning that this was about power—not health or science.
You’ve now been sufficiently prepped for authoritarianism.

Everyone driving legally has taken a driving test, why do I need to wear a seat belt?
Why should I keep a fire extinguisher handy? Everyone pays for the fire department.
Why do surgeons need masks and gloves? They're healthy, right?
Maybe it's because like any virus, even if it isn't currently affecting you, it can still be spread. And as a bunch of idiots worship Nurgle and want to spread the plague, we should keep things safe, especially as we aren't quite sure how new strains will react with the virus.
Oh, and I’m sure when it’s Trump or someone else like him doing it, it’s not authoritarianism at all. It’s “based”, and “restoring tradition” and “natural Christian leadership”. I spit on your traditions, Candace Owens you piece of shit.
I can still transmot the virus, though i am vaccinated.
So, as long as there are reality-challenged asshats keeping the virus circulating, it's safer for everyone if i mask.
Politics not required to explain MY decision.
Well the main reason for mask mandates remaining in place isn’t the possibility of virus transmission from vaccinated people, I think. It has recently been shown that that risk is fairly low (still greater than 0 though). Exceptions for the vaccinated would be pretty difficult to control… that would require them to carry their vaccination confirmation at all times and present it on request. I wonder how well that would go over with Candarse Owens and her crowd.
So, as long as the majority of the population isn’t fully vaccinated, masks it is. Deal with it.
First, vaccination isn’t always effective and, second, it would be too muh a hassle to control vaccination certificates of everyone unmasked in a crowd.
You do realise Covid 19 now has different variants, don't you? You know, like the Brazilian version and the Kent version. Vaccines might boost you immunity to the disease but it is the variants scientists are worried about because selfish whiners like you won't mask or distance.
Confused?
