This whole emotional blackmail of “be kind, wear your mask” — excuse us, but we WERE kind. We did this for TWO YEARS. We shut down our economies. People lost their businesses. Stop assuming everyone is sick until proven healthy and if you’re that scared, stay home.

Oh yeah, kind; your lot protested at hospitals, complained incessantly, flouted the mask mandate, refuse to get vaccinated, and did pretty much everything in your power to frustrate efforts at preventing the spread of covid. We were all watching you, remember? Our memories aren't that short.
Yes, you were so kind. So kind that your ilk murdered and assaulted people when asked to wear a mask. Threw fits, screamed, hollered, lied about medical exemptions, and refused to help.
Yes, you shut down economies. You shut down business. If everyone but essential personal with a clean bill of health actually stayed home for a month when this started, imagine how much better things would have been.

Yes, that happened, and it sucks. You know what sucks a lot more, though? There are almost a million people dead from covid in the United States. If you stupid selfish assholes had actually been kind and not spent the last two years throwing a temper tantrum this number would be a lot lower and we might actually be through with this.
So many families lost loved ones who were patrons of those businesses.

What the fuck constitutes kindness to these people? Issuing an avalanche of death threats and killing their own children by deliberately undermining any and all attempts to implement masks and vaccination - preferring fucking bleach and piss instead - and organizing roving bands of loud, disruptive, violent hooligans to flout the law wherever they could often armed isn’t kind.
What? Is it that you, personally, decided not to chuck firebombs and only break the law in ways that were convenient and consequence free for you only issuing supportive statements to those who went beyond to make that effort?
Fuck you and the asshole that threatened to burn my 7-11 down for reminding him it wasn’t just store policy but the law, you’re a greater danger to me or any given child than any number of black people demanding more police do their jobs like they were cops instead of gangbangers, gay pride events anywhere in the world be it university or the local fucking daycare, or people using the bathroom.
If you’re scared of any of those people how about you take your own advice and just lock yourself in living the shut in life you’re suggesting we should (and the temporary “lockdowns” that you so nicely did not adhere to were to prevent that becoming prolonged something that becomes painfully obvious when you look away from North America where this shit did not prevail and life has returned mostly to normal) despite it being such anathema to you you’re willing to spread death to everyone you meet and leave them to have normal lives? No? Society must cater to you and you alone or else burn so they’re the ones who must be driven out since even in their own homes you consider them dangerous to you?
“Emotional blackmail” of trying to convince you your actions have immediate consequences? While in the meantime you appeal to nothing but the emotions of fear and anger and now are trying to imply threats to much more literally blackmail and extort society to let you keep fucking it the way you’ve been fucking it but with even fewer consequences as you loudly blame everyone else? The greatest spread of disease happens a bit before you appear sick. And there are people who never show clear symptoms but spread disease for weeks or months, they’re called “Typhoid Marys”. You are suggesting that we drastically reduce the effectiveness of mask use for the sake of “respecting” self-centered, reckless idiots. Nope. Such people don’t get much respect under normal conditions, why should they especially get that respect in times when it would lead them to do the most damage?
