Jesus once promised that humanity would one day do what he did and even greater feats, with regards to healings. Have you considered that SCIENCE is how other humans would do it?
Godde[*] works in a hands-off way. The “Bible times” were the “Training Wheels” era where Godde could be more direct. Now the training wheels are off and Deity will only help us indirectly and only when we ask.
Stuff like “Laying On Of Hands” should be done IN ADDITION TO ACTUAL MEDICAL CARE! Same hold true for Alternative Medicine! It doesn’t replace Modern Medicine, it supports it.
Why doesn’t Godde heal amputees? Because that’s for US to figure out! So far, we can create sophisticated prosthetics and reattach severed body parts. We’re even learning how to grow things in labs, like ears and noses.
When someone is born with the wrong sex, we can correct that, so the body matches the brain. The brain is the seat of the soul, where our selves truly reside, physically, mentally and spiritually. Ergo, change the body to match the brain.

Finally, when the Bible appears to speak out against homosexuality and crossdressing, it’s most likely going after stuff like Pederasty (Where an older master or mentor figure as a pervy ‘relationship’ with an adolescent boy or slave), Temple Prostitution (which often involved sexual slavery and boys getting castrated to be these feminized playthings) and stuff like that.
