Religion and religious freedom gone wild

The First Amendment guarantees Americans the freedom of religion in the “establishment” clause:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Words matter, so the first question that must be answered is a matter of definition.

What is religion?

The dictionary defines religion as:

1. The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.
2. A particular system of faith and worship.
3. A pursuit or interest to which someone ascribes superhuman importance.

Dictionaries have been used for centuries to help codify the meaning of words in an attempt to make language useful. Without accepted specific meanings for words it is impossible to communicate through language effectively. Language is the common denominator of speech. Even biblical stories express the importance of the meaning of words as they are understood or misunderstood in any language. The most famous example is the biblical story of The Tower of Babel that begins with everyone on Earth speaking the same language and able to understand each other. Whether the scattering of people around the world was a punishment for hubris or not, the consequence was that people began speaking different languages and could no longer understand each other.

But what happens when people speaking the same language no longer understand each other because they interpret the meaning of the same words differently? That is the situation we are facing in contemporary American society today.

The second question that must be answered is a matter of interpretation.

What does religion mean to you?

Thomas Jefferson wrote eloquently on the subject in an 1802 letter to the Danbury Baptists who worried about their minority status in Connecticut. Jefferson was reassuring the Baptists that being a minority religion would not be a problem in a Protestant majority state as far as the federal government was concerned.

Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, & not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should “make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”, thus building a wall of separation between Church & State. Adhering to this expression of the supreme will of the nation in behalf of the rights of conscience, I shall see with sincere satisfaction the progress of those sentiments which tend to restore to man all his natural rights, convinced he has no natural right in opposition to his social duties. (Wikipedia)

Jefferson’s letter clearly indicates that for Jefferson, religion was a matter of Man and God. Jefferson’s interpretation was the widely accepted and understood view of religion in the early 18th century. By the 20th century the U.S. Supreme Court “incorporated” the Establishment Clause and expanded its application from the federal government to the state governments as well.

Practical application

The practical application of the freedom of religion also requires a uniform understanding of the meaning and interpretation of the word religion. The Exercise Clause clarifies the supremacy of Constitutional laws and freedoms over religious laws and freedoms. This is particularly important in contemporary America because we are facing “religious” practices of Islam that threaten our Constitutional freedoms.

The Free Exercise Clause distinguishes between religions beliefs and religious practices. It is the equivalence of distinguishing between thinking and doing. In America an individual is free to think murderous thoughts but he is not free to murder. Islam is a religion governed by religious Sharia Law that endorses honor killings, female genital mutilation, murder of apostates, murder of homosexuals, wife beatings, child marriage and pedophilia. American jurisprudence does not have the will or authority to change people’s beliefs. This applies equally to citizens of the United States, guests in this country, illegal aliens, or citizens of other countries. But we most certainly have the right and legal obligation to disallow any and all practices in conflict with the U.S. Constitution and our cultural norms. Free Exercise Clause (Wikipedia)

“Freedom of religion means freedom to hold an opinion or belief, but not to take action in violation of social duties or subversive to good order.”[28] In Reynolds v. United States (1878), the Supreme Court found that while laws cannot interfere with religious belief and opinions, laws can be made to regulate some religious practices (e.g., human sacrifices, and the Hindu practice of suttee). The Court stated that to rule otherwise, “would be to make the professed doctrines of religious belief superior to the law of the land, and in effect permit every citizen to become a law unto himself. Government would exist only in name under such circumstances.”[29]

Words mean things

In Cantwell v. Connecticut (1940), the Court held that the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment applied the Free Exercise Clause to the states. While the right to have religious beliefs is absolute, the freedom to act on such beliefs is not absolute. https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/310/296/case.html

In Jefferson’s time as in Truman’s time the meaning of the word religion included items 1 and 2:

1. The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.
2. A particular system of faith and worship.

Seventy years later in 2017 we must reconsider the meaning of the word religion and ask the question:

What is Islam?

Islam is not a religion like Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, or Judaism. Instead, Islam is a unified supremacist socio-political system with a military wing and a religious wing. Islam features religious sharia law. The goal of Islam since the 7th century is to make the world Islamic and impose sharia law worldwide.

Islam is tyrannical in its demand for conformity to its barbaric sharia laws. It is also intolerant. Islam is a political force seeking world dominion. So we cannot allow it religious protections like the Baptists in Connecticut during Jefferson’s times.

Islam is far more like the Nazis during Hitler’s time. Consider this question. What if Hitler declared Nazism to be a religion. It certainly qualifies as a religion according to Item 3. A pursuit or interest to which someone ascribes superhuman importance.

Suppose Adolph Hitler declared his Nazism a religion. Then would the left-wing liberal apologists for Islam defend Nazism? Would they defend its determination to rule the world and rid the Earth of every Jew? Would the lefty-wing liberals declare murder of Jews protected by religious freedom? How is this different from allowing Muslims to perpetrate honor killings, female genital mutilation, murder of apostates, murder of homosexuals, wife beatings, child marriage, and pedophilia?

There is no difference.

Apologists for Islamic barbarity claim that Islamists have perverted their religion. If so, it is also true that they have perverted our concept of religious freedom. Islam is not a religion like any other. Moreover its savage practices do not deserve protection under our religious freedom laws and the free exercise clause.

Predictions, prophecies and possibilities

Throughout the ages many have set dates for the Second Coming of Christ. Within the last two centuries, the Millerites and Harold Camping both presented logical (but wrong) arguments to support their predictions. The Millerite prediction for the Second Coming was 1843, which they then represented was misunderstood and should be have been interpreted as a “cleansing in heaven” and not on earth. More recently, Harold Camping predicted the Lord’s return in 1994, which he then revised to 2011.1 While such beliefs were sincere and well-founded, they ignored the Scripture that tells us that no one knows the day or the hour – only God in heaven. However, Jesus emphatically warned us to watch for the signs of the times so that we would not be overtaken as victims of a thief who comes in the night.

As we begin a new year, we should review and consider the fulfillment of the signs Christ spoke about. It needs to be stated clearly that this is not meant to suggest any time line, but only to increase awareness of the likelihood of Christ’s impending return. For although many prophecies have been fulfilled, that does not mean that we can set any date, for the Lord is not slack in returning but wishing that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Therefore, it is the will of God that the time frame we label as the “end times” very well can last an incalculable period of time until He is satisfied that all that will come to repentance have come to repentance.

Two fulfilled predictions in modern times

While there are many fulfilled prophecies regarding this time period, I will only discuss two.

Daniel 12:4 (NASB) says: “But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.” Any soccer mom, or anyone stuck in rush hour traffic, or anyone who has spent time at an airport would be hard-pressed to deny that people are running back and forth all over the place. It is also undeniable that the last two decades have experienced a historically unparalleled increase in knowledge.

Luke 18:8b says: “However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” Since 1859, the teachings of Evolution have assaulted the faith of many by challenging the veracity of Scripture, and consequently, the existence of God. As a result, the faith of many has not materialized.

Two key intervals

In addition to fulfilled prophecy, there are two significant time pins that are noteworthy.

1. Daniel 12:11 (NASB): “From the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.” Ellis H. Skofield in his book The False Prophet, argues that this abomination is the Dome of the Rock by calculating a year based on 360 days until AD. Thereafter, counting one day for a year, as Daniel’s prophecies established with the birth and death of Christ. Using this formula, 1290 days from 552 BC (the time of Belshazzar) brings you to 688 AD, or the year the Dome of the Rock was built. At that point Muslims took over Israel’s most holy location, which made it impossible to worship on the Temple Mount—and yes, spiritually and in the eyes of the one true God, it is an abomination! (Also see Ezekiel 8:1-8; 16.)

When Israel came back

2. Daniel 7:25 (NASB): ‘He will speak out against the Most High and wear down the saints of the Highest One, and he will intend to make alterations in times and in law; and they will be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time.” The “he” referred to in this verse is a world leader whom many have labeled the Antichrist, but Scripture also tells us that the spirit of the Antichrist is already at work. Entire books can be written about this demonic spirit(s) and the form(s) it will take. Here we are discussing time pins, which requires a judgment call – or dare I say “an educated guess?” Assuming that Daniel’s original point of reference goes back to the first year of Belshazzar (552 BC), and a time, times, and half a time equates to 2500 years, we arrive at the year 1948, the year Israel once again became a nation.

Part 2 will deal with America’s possible roles in prophecy (including the administration of Donald Trump) and the political signs given in Scripture. Contrary to what many believe, throughout history and as recorded in biblical prophecies, faith systems of all kinds and politics do intertwine. The two time pins mentioned above are both spiritual and political in nature. To be sure, according to the books of Daniel and Revelation, we can expect this duality to continue. Until then, lift up your heads and watch, because your redemption is drawing near. Luke 21:28 NASB.

Editor’s Note:

1Harold Camping’s 2011 prediction failed – twice in one year. He suffered a stroke and died in that year. His Family Radio empire died with him. Your editor noted that Radio Station WFME, the Family Radio affiliate in West Orange, New Jersey, quietly went off the air.

Without God, Israel is lost

Since 1948 or for 68 years, Israeli prime ministers – all secularists – have banished God from the domain of statecraft, and with the virtual compliance of the religious parties. May there not be a connection between the absence of God in Israeli statecraft and the absence of wisdom, courage, and Jewish pride among Israeli politicians?

Without God, Israel loses

How is it that Israel, once so powerful in war, succumbed to the gang of terrorists led by Yasser Arafat’s and his successor Mahmoud Abbas? Can it be because Israel’s ruling elites are godless in contrast to these Muslims who never fail to invoke the name of Allah? Never mind their hypocrisy and murderous hearts. Because they sanctified Allah, Muslims advance while Israeli prime ministers, who sanctify nothing, retreat.

The asymmetry between the Muslims and the Jews may be seen in the psychological consequences of their respective goals. Whereas the initial and expressed goal of the Muslim Palestinians is statehood, a goal that arouses Arab pride and spirit, the Jewish goal exemplified by PM Netanyahu is “peaceful coexistence” via the “two state solution,” which arouses Jewish self-effacement, humiliation, and defeatism.

Clearly Israel desperately needs a government whose leaders are animated by a goal rooted in the heritage of the Jewish people. Unlike other nations, Israel knows why it was created. It was created to reveal the infinite wisdom, power, and graciousness of God in every domain of existence. It was created to convey to mankind the example of a nation in which freedom dwells with righteousness, equality with excellence, wealth with beauty, the here and now with love of the Eternal.

But how can Israel pursue so lofty a goal when its leaders want nothing more than “peace,” a euphemism for the absence of violence? How can Israel be a light unto the nations when its leaders are tainted by the egalitarianism of this mundane democratic era? How can Israel sanctify God’s Name when its political and judicial institutions have been severed from Jewish law and values?

What secularism has wrought

Secularists may scoff at these remarks, but seven decades of secular leadership in Israel have not restored Jewish honor or even security. The secular Zionism that established the State is dead. The time has come to bring God back into the domain of statecraft.

I am not proposing theocracy, which has no operational significance in Torah governance. There is no ruling class in Torah Judaism. Never in Jewish history did the Kohanim or misnamed “priests” exercise authority in the daily life of the Jewish people. Judaism is not a clerical religion. In fact, the illustrious Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch has said that the term “religion” is the greatest obstacle to understanding Judaism, which is not a religion so much as a truth-oriented civilization.

I am no admirer of Israel’s religious parties, which typically use the Torah for politics instead of politics for the Torah. Their ungodly collaboration with Israel’s secular elites has brought Israel to its present nadir. They say nothing and do noting while Israeli prime ministers release Arab terrorists and make ignominious concessions to the murderers of Jewish women, men, and children.

If Israeli prime ministers believed in the God of Israel they would have inflicted swift and devastating vengeance on these murderers of our people. Why any Jew should expect peace from Arab despots animated by a Jew-hating, bellicose religion, when Jew-hatred thrives even in peace-loving Europe, is a commentary on the imbecility of the secular democratic mind.

Time to return to God

And so every sensible Jew deplores Israel’s lack of Jewish leadership. Every sensible Jew knows that Israel’s political leaders have betrayed the people’s trust, have surrendered Jewish land contrary to their party principles or campaign promises. Is it not obvious that Israel, steeped in politics and led by a government without God, has become increasingly wretched and helpless?

Hence now is the time to sanctify God’s Name by a massive rejection of Israel’s perfidious and pusillanimous government. Are there no anti-Establishment rabbis with courage enough to come forward and warn our people about the Road Map to Oblivion? Are there no heads of yeshivot with courage enough to come to Jerusalem with hundreds and thousands of students and followers to sanctify God’s Name by saying “Enough”!

Enough of this desecration of God’s Name by yielding to Arab murderers and misconceived American interests! Away with this godless government! Let us here and now form a parallel government in Judea and Samaria and there create an authentic Jewish Republic, one that inspires conviction and courage and calls to its banner all the people of Israel, and does so in the Name and for the sake of God.

Without God Israel is lost!?

Where does morality lie?

Most stunningly, Obama now tries to lend moral weight to his law. He cites a large crew of politicians who knew no more about morality than he does. He asserts any modern person has “a right” to health care. Whether any doctor wants to give that care or not, whether anyone else wants to pay for it or not, he still says: everyone has “a right” to this service.

Rights don’t work that way. Rights come from God. They describe things no one may take away from you. What are they? Read the Ten Commandments, or at least those that bear on this problem:

No murder.
No adultery, and more broadly, no cheating.
No theft.
No lying to or about one another.
No coveting of that which belongs to someone else.

Thomas Jefferson recast the “inalienable rights” of human beings as “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” The Constitution rephrases that as “life, liberty and property.”

None of these documents say a word about a good or service to which any human being has a natural right. What right has one stranded at sea even to the food he eats?

Sadly, since Theodore Roosevelt became President, American politics has given itself more to kleptomania, covetousness, and now perjury, adultery (and even less natural twists on human relations), and in some contexts (like abortion on demand), murder. Obamacare teaches people to covet the services others have earned. It steals from some for the unearned, unpaid benefit of others. Like the devil bargaining with Faust, it forces insurance carriers to ignore adultery and fornication (of all kinds), though these present health hazards any honest doctor knows about. And above all, Obamacare passed after a campaign of lies.

Barack Obama lays a moral case for Obamacare? He does not know what he’s talking about.

I am humored by the sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity that some people in this country accept concerning their representatives on the topic of “Global terror.” Friends, it is not just America that I am now addressing, I am addressing the peoples, the governments and the incumbent representatives on a global scale.

We see these officials act rather strangely after these supposed “terror attacks.” They seem to conglomerate on cue and ally themselves to condemn the acts, yet not the actors. In the end, they ask the people to give up their rights while attempting to disarm them for the “global good.” Additionally, they attempt to forge new powers against the very people they are supposed to represent.

Concerning the current Obama administration, terror is nothing more than a created battering ram to upend government sovereignty in order to implement new totalitarian government and establish a global government. Just ask Secretary of State under George W. Bush Condoleezza Rice, when she said of Josef Stalin:

The system of terror was essential to Stalinism—Terror was the creation to mold politically the control that they wanted.

Global government in the past: Adolf Hitler

Adolf Hitler used the same methodology, as well as the same philosophy in so many ways.

Hitler was responsible for attacking his own Reichstag to start a world war. He perpetuated a war against the “enemies” he created. His propagandists had the Germans believing they were under attack. All the while, Hitler was the one doing the attacking.

Hitler was also responsible for sending his Brownshirts to incite the people to chaos, so he could play the role of problem solver.

Eighty million Germans refused to believe Hitler was guilty of these crimes until 12 million innocent people were slaughtered.

Walter T. Brown #fundie conservativenewsandviews.com

Trans-Neptunian objects may have formed from water, rock and mud ejected into space at the beginning of the Global Flood on earth, a creation scientist announced yesterday.

Walter T. Brown, of the Center for Scientific Creation in Phoenix, Ariz., contacted the Creationism Examiner yesterday (May 3) to inform him of his new hypothesis. He had begun to suspect an earthly origin for trans-Neptunian objects years ago. But he hesitated to declare this on account of the implications for the likely mass of the earth before the Global Flood broke out.

“I cringed even to consider an earthly origin for trans-Neptunian objects,” he said. “Even now I hesitate, because it means the subcrustal ocean, that broke open at the Mid-Oceanic Ridge, was even deeper than I thought. I had guessed it was ten miles deep to the ground. Now I must consider that it was deeper still.”

Brown refers here to his Hydroplate Theory. According to it, the earth once had a subcrustal ocean, ten miles below ground and three quarters of a mile deep. The crust ruptured, and the subcrustal water, under pressure and critically hot, rushed out. This caused the Flood, and the seam where the breakout occurred persists as the Mid-Oceanic Ridge system on the ocean floor.

Muslim indoctrination in public schools

Interestingly enough, in recent years American public schools have been indoctrinated with the Muslim religion. Studies have shown over 500 historical errors in public school textbooks, giving an Islamic slant to our youth.

As a result, our youth are subject to the following teachings and practices:

-Learning to become a Muslim
-Fasting for Ramadan
-Learning about Ramadan, which is a special month of the year for over 1 billion Muslims throughout the world. It is a time for inner reflection, devotion to Allah and self-control.

[....]

Muslim infiltration in universities

Saudis have taken advantage of the Title VI program our government implemented after World War II for educating young Americans about foreign cultures and languages.

How? They are using their riches from oil to pump millions of dollars into our universities to appoint Arab professors in departments such as political science, Middle East studies, etc. who are brainwashing our students with an anti-American point of view. They teach that we are the problem; that our foreign policy is the problem; that our wealth, enlightenment and success are oppressing the rest of the world.

This explains why Obama is apologizing to other nations. This is why he is targeting the youth vote after this anti-American curriculum has sneaked its way into our schools. This is also why the ACLU quickly represents Muslims while refusing to defend Christians who practice their faith — in public schools.

Apparently, this “Muslim in chief” that lives in the White House overlooked his Christian obligation and duty; he swore to uphold the Constitution of the United States with his hand on the Christian Bible.

The same Book that which declares:

-Thou shalt have NO other gods before Me! (Exodus 20:3)
-Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12) His Name is Jesus!
-For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5)
-Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

In conclusion, if America allows this administration to pick new gods for her, rest assured there will be war in the gates (Judges 5:8)!

Accusing Christians of Terrorism is Very Close to Blasphemy

It is clear that quacks and extremists exist in every area of life. We have quack doctors, lawyers, scientists and lest we try to cover it, even a few Christians. Heeding the call to always consider the source brings us to a conclusion that cannot be argued against. Most Christians and especially Biblically based believers are not terrorists.

What terrorist turns the other cheek, (Mt 5: 39) or goes out of their way to do good to their enemies? (Mt.5: 44) What Christian has not been told that to lay down their lives for others, rather than take a life is Christ’s way? (Jn 15: 13) Only someone totally devoid of any biblical knowledge would fail to see that nowhere does Christ or his Apostles ever give us leave to harm or kill another human being.

We can hear echoes’ from the classic film ‘Cool Hand Look’ so clearly “What we have here – is a failure to communicate.”

Christians are the ones that stand for life, want to preserve life, save life and protect life. Blowing up everyone we disagree with into kingdom come, is not part of our training, our bibles or our nature. To suggest that it is, most certainly borders on blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

When the Pharisees accused Jesus of casting out devils by the power of the devil, he warned them of committing the unforgivable sin of blasphemy. (Mt 12: 31)

To label the Spirit that resides in believers as an evil spirit of terrorism and death is as close to blasphemy as it gets.

If intended it is blasphemy, but even in the case of it being inadvertent blasphemy based on ordinary ignorance of the facts, it is always high perversion.

["And please stop with the “we face a tyranny as vicious as that of Adolf Hitler” rhetoric. For someone who cares about Israel as much as you do, it’s sad that you’re equating conditions in America today to life under the Nazis."]

Obama asked for the specific Hitler comparison when he severely disrespected the Prime Minister of Israel and suggested they retreat behind the 1949 Armistice Line and consent to the re-division of Jerusalem. So don’t dare claim to speak for the Jews on behalf of Barack Hussein Obama.

Those Jews whose feelings you dare say I just hurt, remember that first Hitler told them they didn’t need guns, and then told them to board the trains.

So what evidence must we explain? Here it is:

The Mercury ice
A vast amount of it
Organic material in the Mercury ice, that did not form on Mercury.

So: several comets, and maybe some water-rich asteroids too, fell onto Mercury’s north and south poles. And those comets and asteroids held organic matter. This begs another question: where did objects like these come from?

For that we have two competing explanations:
Panspermia

Panspermia (from the Greek pas, pasa, pan all, every, etc., and sperma a seed) means “seeding everywhere.” According to the panspermia theory, comets and asteroids, or at least a significant portion of them, hold the stuff of life along with their water. Some of these fell to earth, and we are the by-product. Maybe some of the rest fell to Mercury (and the Moon, and Mars).

But this begs the question of where the stuff of life came from, and how it could cross space, subject to cold and radiation, and still “seed” the Earth. Indeed, most evolutionists don’t believe this. They believe in abiogenesis, the notion that life arose from non-life. But abiogenesis could not possibly explain the organic layer on the Mercury ice. (The primordial soup would be far too cold.)
The Hydroplate Theory

The Hydroplate Theory is Walt Brown’s theory of the Global Flood. According to it, half of today’s ocean water lay deep underground—very deep. Ten miles deep. About 4400 years ago, the ten-mile-thick crust cracked open and let all that water out. It came out with enough force to throw vast amounts of water, rock and mud – one percent of the total weight of the Earth – into space. That water, rock and mud persist as comets, asteroids, and meteoroids.

Brown explains how comets formed in the micro-gravity of space. (Even a hand-sized rock, far enough away from any planet or moon, can become an orbital primary and make other, lighter-weight objects fall into it.) He also shows that such comets would fly off from earth in all directions. That’s why comets today have orbits going off in all directions. And Brown defies anyone to explain the Mercury ice (or the lunar or Martian ice, either) by any other theory of where comets came from. (Brown also knew about the Mercury ice twenty years ago, when NASA first suggested it.)

And the organic matter? Anything from germs to shrubs, that the escaping water, rock and mud carried with it. In fact, Lawrence, in the Science paper, says the ice melted when it crashed, then re-froze, with the dark organic layer on top. According to the First Law of Thermodynamics, it could do nothing else.

Brown confirmed today that the Mercury ice confirms his theory. That means the Mercury ice confirms creation, not abiogenesis or panspermia, as the origin of life.

The Reality Doctrine.

Islamic Governments of the world, this is our new doctrine. Keep your thugs and fanatics home or face our wrath. You have been warned and any consequence of this doctrine will be of your doing.

1. Any country that supports terrorism and has, helped or abetted any man or group, that has killed an American here at home or abroad, will be declared a terrorist state.
2. That country, with the approval of Congress, will come under attack from our Air Force and our Navy. The attack will be relentless in taking out government buildings, railroads, bridges, factories, military installations on the ground or on the sea.
3. Every hard target will be given a 2 hour notice to give the dictators time to move their people out of harms way.
4. After the complete annihilation of the specified targets, America will go home and leave your miserable country to rebuild on its own without one dollar of support or one American soldier on the ground. Not one American boy will lose his life or leave a limb in the hell hole of any Islamic country.
5. After 5 years, 10 years or however long it takes to re construct your infrastructure, if you choose to go down the same path, we will be back.
6. Any country that supports terrorism and allows that activity on their soil will receive not one dollar of American money. We will no longer borrow hundreds of billions of dollars and then give it away to our enemies or any country that supports our enemies

Now of course this is just dreaming and the Reality Doctrine will never be implemented. However, if it was, this doctrine would surely be tested by our enemies. But just once.

Obama rainbow flag design

The Obama rainbow flag has nine stripes instead of the original thirteen. The five red stripes are streaks, like red paint. Or maybe blood. Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit said early this morning that the five red stripes look a lot like bloodstains. In fact Hoft compared them to the blood streaks that at least one American left on the wall of the US Consulate in Benghazi before he died there.

The four white stripes are not so much stripes as spaces between stripes. Again that evokes the streaks that a wounded man might make on a wall with his spread-out fingers.

The flag’s union (upper left-hand corner) has the worst change. The fifty stars on a blue field are missing. In their place is a light cyan capital O with a rainbow running along the bottom—the official logo of the Obama campaign.

Barack Obama does not even try to disavow the Obama rainbow flag. Three years ago, someone designed the Obama face flag, having seven red and six white stripes, with Obama’s face for a union. It sold on eBay until eBay administration de-listed it. But on March 14, 2012, the Democratic Party office in Leesburg, Florida, flew an Obama face flag beneath a proper US flag. A local veteran reminded the party leader sharply that the Obama face flag breaks the US Flag Code. The office took the flag down.

In contrast, Barack Obama offers the Obama rainbow flag for sale from the campaign’s online store. Price: $35. (CNAV will not link to the site. CNAV has a policy against handing out free advertising.) Todd Starnes, at Fox Radio, describes a second print, showing the Obama rainbow flag inside the outline of the continental USA.

The official title of the Obama rainbow flag: “Our stripes.” That is yet another mistake. Stripes are a symbol of struggle, and often of political punishment. So “Our stripes” could mean “Our struggle.” Or in German, Unser Kampf. Think how close that is to Mein Kampf.

Extraterrestrial microbes pose no threat to the creation model. I maintain, after consulting with one whose opinions I respect, that a large amount of water, mud and rock escaped into space on the occasion of the Global Flood. Some of it splattered onto Mars. That the mud held microbes is not a stretch.

Terry A. Hurlbut #fundie conservativenewsandviews.com

Today, water flows on Mars only when another object, i.e. a meteor, falls to Mars and melts some of the ice.

So Mars never had an ocean. Nor did the water disappear, as others have speculated before. It’s still on Mars, only frozen, either as blocks of ice or as frost mixed into the soil.

The objects that did the bombardment came from one event that threw vast quantities of water, rock and mud into space. That event was the Great Flood. That’s why the water is salty.

And by the way: the dinosaurs didn’t all die. Noah must have taken some with them. They show up in too many works of ancient and “native” art. And some of them are alive today.

We’ve got a pod of them in Lake Champlain, Vermont, and the Canadians have them in Lake Okanagan, BC. There was a pod of them in Loch Ness, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re all dead by now, because that lake is so disgustingly polluted.

We had dragons throughout Western Europe, until the medieval knights hunted them to extinction. The dragons in China lasted a little longer; Marco Polo saw one of them.

Antimatter isn’t as common as it should be, by the Big Bang theory. Some scientists hope to find out why. But any creation advocate knows why.
.
.
The Bible tells us the real answer: the universe did not form by itself. God formed it, and He preferred matter to antimatter. The CERN scientists aren’t ready to admit that yet, and might never be. But they already know that the Big Bang theory doesn’t fit if the antimatter is missing. If they try to save the theory, they’ll only make it more complicated than it has already become, to explain a dozen other inconsistencies.
