So if men are only beasts, so are women, deserving no humanity? Ironically, fundamentalists are accusing science of presenting humans as beasts, when it also acknowledges that not all animals behave, or need to behave alike. We have brains, but many people don't make good use of it, even the immature who might eventually develop wisdom. Brains are also not anti-sex, they're organs that have evolved via reproduction and selection. Fundamentalists can still be anti-sex and pro-sex at the same time: it's evil to masturbate or to have "naughty thoughts", but raping a girl is "only a minor sin, dictated by nature". Sex is indeed natural, it doesn't mean that we can't learn about it and about the harm that predatory behavior causes. Or the suffering that victims experience from victim blaming and rape (and often, their offspring). Fundamentalists agree that society needs laws, so does the rest of society. But patriarchy would like to orient them against scapegoats and victims and claim that hate and abuse are the human nature. Thus their abusive culture includes victim blaming. They're still victims, even if you unjustly blame them for having features that attract you and for not being able to suppress those. Suppressing them would actually be unnatural. What is sex abuse? Part of it is the inability to understand and play within the rules of acceptable sex rituals. This also means that what is "acceptable" is being played with for propaganda, to normalize the unacceptable...

The Y chromosome does not do much - it just carries a few genes present on the X chromosome, the regulatory region responsible for inducing the development into the male morph, and a few genes responsible for the proper production of sperm.

I’ve said this before on here, but… Most lawyers, judges, police officers etc. are men. If men were innately rapists, rape would be legal.
There might be property laws against raping someone’s wife or mother or daughter, with ‘unowned’ women considered fair game - and for certain periods of history, this has actually been how society was run - but that state of affairs has not stuck, at least not in functional countries.
I’m 47 years old now, and yet I’ve managed to keep myself from raping anybody. I mean, I’m a horny pervert who’s into BDSM, but I do know that CONSENT is the key word in all that.

Well, I’m 31 (with high testosterone levels), and not only have I never raped or even inappropriatly “touched” anyone either, I’m even still a 100% virgin, despite being pretty damn horny internally. I happen to prefer to discharge my needs by reading and viewing explicit content and such.
Perphaps I’m doing something wrong, but it seems like a large part of men don’t think that rape is ever acceptable…
Then men should be restrained. From now on, men are not allowed to leave the house without handlers who keep them on a leash. Maybe it’s because you know what I know: that men AREN’T hard-wired to rape. The problem isn’t biology, it’s upbringing. Boys are told from puberty on that they can’t possibly control their urges and and women are little more than walking sex toys, so they see no problem with just forcing themselves on one. If you teach them that they can control themselves, and that women are people, just as human as they are, that immutable, uncontrollable desire to rape seems to disappear. You just want to pretend they can’t control themselves so that you have an excuse to rape.
