I actually prefer a writer like Toni Morrison to her, on the subject of slavery, nothing comical about that, because she was African American, so her Beloved was HARD HITTING. Harriet Beecher Stowe was revolutionary for her time, of course, even Abe Lincoln said so.

There's a lot of evidence that proves slavery was nowhere near benevolent like slaveowners would have you believe.

If you meant slave plantations were basically holiday resorts then why all these security measures to prevent revolts or escapes?

What’s wrong here? Am I missing something big?
