Looks like a benign way to support political purges, much like the Black Sun or Full Red Alert in XIII , when the concept of an internal conspiracy inside the USA to abolish democracy was viewed as far-fetched.

It always comes back to turning their entire world into a fucked up sexual power fantasy others are helpless to stop them from enacting and their starting point will always be their own children. It’s the cycle of child abuse, distilled into a political machine. These are the people who think of you as children. Not to protect or cherish or help grow and educate into the inheritors of the world but to always have someone helpless, crying, and so afraid of everything outside the walls “daddy” has so kindly built for you to protect you from a world you are deliberately intellectually and emotionally distanced from like all abusers do to their victims that you are afraid to be plucked out of that abuse and exploitation and you’ll sit there and take it when “daddy” takes off his belt and you’ll think the only thing you can do is pray he’s only going to hit you with it. At least, until you’re holding the belt. Then when you look down and fail to see the one you’re beating and only see an echo of yourself crying out and helpless then you’ll truly know what it was to be “daddy” that whole time. Needing to be feared, obeyed, in control. To exist in a world where only your sphere of absolute domination is in any way “real” to you. Because it’s only in there you are not still a screaming, beaten, child who was robbed of the chance to grow to maturity. You’re “daddy” in here, you do what the adult did. And if you keep doing it maybe that screaming wreck will stop looking like you. Or maybe that sphere just keeps cracking and shrinking leaving only the shattered cutting shards to slice into your very being like so much glass.
