Donald Trump should declare himself a monarch & leave the presidency to his son when he retires. It's the only way to prevent Democrats from having permanent control of Washington & ensuring rightwing values cease to exist. You'll never be able to vote for conservative ideas soon

Stop, I can only get so erect.
If the Democrats can pull a Stacey Abrams in the rest of the south, yes, the Right as we know it is screwed. However, they won’t, so you’ll be fine for the next ten years or so.
Rightwing values, like racism, sexism, and reality denialism? Yeah, those should absolutely cease to exist.

Including the fine right wing value of shitting yourself at frat parties.
Kaitlin Bennett who runs Liberty Hangout did that at a frat party and it’s my job to make sure nobody ever forgets that about her.
Even if, by a miracle, Trump became competent enough, and the military corrupt enough, to do this, Trump’s adult sons are morons. It would be a general running things from behind the scenes, much like it is in North Korea with Kim.
As time goes by, some conservative ideas become counterproductive to the general functioning of society and thus an increasingly difficult sell politically. Because the essence of conservatism is clinging to an idealized past, this is just a side effect of living in a non-static world. Quite a lot of it is now past its sell-by date, but due to the divisive us-vs-them nature of US politics and the bundling of the rotten with the still palatable, it’s persisted far longer here than it has in most of the western world.
Conservatism won’t go away, sadly. The idealized past will just move to a later period. But at least maybe the moldy leftovers will finally get cleared out of the fridge.
There are very few absolute monarchs left, except in the Middle East. You couldn’t have a constitutional monarchy, for someone who the people didn’t want, and didn’t vote for in enough numbers - only a tyrant.
Most monarchies nowadays have a form of legislative branch that gives people representation. The would be heir would need to have a lot of public support to pull this off. It's not going to work.

The South is slowly turning liberal. North Carolina only went to Trump by a few percentage points. South Carolina and Kentucky both have Democrat governors. Missouri approved a Medicaid expansion. It's happening already.
Confused?
