Even with that situation, I can see those renounced people deciding they’d need to make themselves a distinct entity if their source nations cared so little about them. The occupied lands were all they had to work with, so they’d definitely deserve consideration.

Early understandings of the Crucifixion, meanwhile, actually put salvific weight on the Resurrection, the immediate defeat/dampening of Death. See also: The Harrowing of Hell.

To me it’s a matter of causality. As in how they think a malicious mentality could cause physical frailty (e.g. nearsightedness, asthma), or vice versa.

Meanwhile, they speak of “mentally ill” as though it were a moral failing. Yet to my knowledge, they don’t deem any physical frailty, genetic included, that way. They don’t seem to see their disparity…

Probably all about the LHC, mistakenly thinking it typically involves more explosive energy than a standard nuclear arsenal (i.e. they don’t realize it’s only that large to give particles time and space to accelerate to the speeds needed for the experiments, and never utilizes even a hydrogen bomb’s mass to my knowledge). Even if there were a planar breach, we’re far more likely to get some isekai location or simple spatial void than Hell (or Heaven)—and a minute gate there, at that. Probably less than a micron wide.

…Do they want to be execrated by the whole of the world for some reason? Even if fascism goes into “All other lifeforms are your enemies” territory a great deal. Although with the Project 2025 plan, they probably see themselves as Heaven conquering Earth ahead of schedule. (Whether God and Jesus like it or not.) They’ll be despised far more than Russia at this rate.
