“If a person wants to commit suicide, there is little stopping him or her from doing it. What the people advocating these laws are doing is seeking approval for it. They know it's wrong, but want the law to tell them it's okay "because it's legal".”
Completely farted out of your ass.
I would agree that suicide from depression is tragic and spent time on a suicide hotline trying to stop such things. BUT I also know there are conditions that are nothing short of a horror show, and a rational response to them could include ending one’s life.
I want it to be legal so that those who do so choose, as a result of clear, rational thinking, suffer the least.
“This is the same rational”
Rationale. And you’re wrong, this is not our rationale.
“Just because it's legal doesn't mean it's Righteous.”
I really could not care any less if ANYTHING is righteous in the eyes of people who believe in your god. Your god doesn’t get a vote. I care if i am punished for doing what I thin is the right thing.
“God included healing in the Covenant made through Jesus (the) Christ between Him and Believers so that we wouldn't have to be slaves to physical ailments.”
Then part of the euthanasia process could be that we advertise someone’s condition on the internet.
Anyone who wants to pray to their god for this person’s healing can do so. If they still want to go through with the suicide after another couple of days, well, you had your chance.
"Don't look to the government for a law to help you in your time of need.”
The government is real, at least.
