Also, it's trivial to "refute" an opponents argument if you get to define what all of his terms mean. All you would be accomplishing is an exercise in intellectual dishonesty.

Via the principle of explosion, if you are allowed to contradict your opponent at whim, then you could literally "prove" anything you wanted, meaning that any such argument would be inherently absurd and meaningless.

I do think that using fetal tissues does raise important ethical questions. However, from what I've read the cells in question were taken from fetal tissue only initially, and then propogated as a cell line. The current generation of cells are no more fetal parts then Hela cells are parts of Henrietta Lacks.

Except Christianity took around 1000 years to become accepted in Europe, and had to be brought in by force in some areas. Then the church had to turn around and "correct" some areas that had adopted Christianity "wrong" (IE Cathars and others). Even after that, Western and Eastern Europe couldn't agree on what Christianity was, so it split the church in two. Then in the Protestant Reformation essentially the Western church cannibalized itself. This in turn lead to some of the most devastating wars Europe ever had, which took hundreds of years to fully resolve. Now today Europe is one of the most secularized places in the world.

So yeah, Europe is "Christian" as long as you avoid a library's worth of facts.
