I have thought about the death penalty for a long time. I came to the conclusion that a criminal who repented of certain crimes would say themselves that they deserved the death penalty. Abortion is one of those crimes.
The criminal history of the father has nothing to do with the innocence of the child, therefore the "raped" excuse does not apply. That the health of the mother might be impeded by the child was known at conception, therefore the "unhealthy mother" excuse does not apply.
