And of course, secular religion is as clueless as religious atheism: an incredible mind distortion, to deny that secular simply means uncorrupt by religion while allowing everyone to practice theirs, and atheism the lack of belief in deities, due to the lack of evidence for their claimed existence and an understanding that humans create them.
The argument about modernity leaving life empty of meaning or leaving a void is also common, some really believe that. For some people, it's also just freedom that they can express in better ways. In any case, forcing religion down people's throats will not improve anything and would violate freedoms (those of the religious who are of another sect, as well as those of the non-religious). If you find emptiness in normal life and find religion appealing, everyone is free to live spiritually and religiously in the US.
It seems that in Musk's case, he would like to impose his will on that of others, at least one family member who can no longer stand him. Or to suppress other transgender people, as it has become a type of obsession.
Then other things may point at the man's avarice, like disregarding partners/workers their worth to allocate the most money to himself, resulting in outrage and lawsuits. Not a good example of someone who cares about society and the world, making ironic any claim that he does...
