Actually, Donald, it DOES work that way. If the President-Reject had thought about this more than three seconds, he would have realized that these were on the SAME BALLOTS, meaning that significant amounts of Republicans refused to vote for Trump, and possibly even voted against him.
He's generally right about the statehouses, but Congress was actually a more mixed bag.
He must have been living under a rock though, if he never noticed all those Republicans that took issue with him.
More deplorables showed up just to vote for Trump this year, but quite a lot of moderate conservatives split the ticket because Biden is closer to a true conservative than Trump is, even if there are some liberal-ish things Biden supports. The Lincoln Project probably helped with that a little. Not as good as things could have gone, but it ain’t rocket surgery.
Of course, the Republican Party is big on party loyalty above personal beliefs, so it can be baffling to them to find some of their voters don’t conform to that.

I believe there was some voter fraud, since I don’t think any election can be called 100% honest. But to assume Republicans doing well this election must mean you were robbed… well, that doesn’t follow.
I live in Kentucky, where elections for state offices are the year prior to presidential elections. In 2015 Kentuckians elected Matt Bevin, who was sort of a proto-Trump.
I don't think you have nearly as much to be offended about as those who realize that those die-hard Republicans who peeked out from inside their assholes and finally took an assessment of the damage you did decided that even though you were an active threat to everything they held dear they still opted to vote for the hollowed out spineless shell of the party that willingly enabled your rampant self-serving criminality even as you threw them under the bus and ruined their lives in petty displays of ego with no rational triggers. What's left of them are the most pathetic simpering bootlicks imaginable who have a talent for getting what they want by just holding their breath or refusing to do their jobs and a handful of highly motivated wannabe fascists.
That second category? They don't need you any more, by the way. But I'm sure they appreciate you showing the world how easy it is to live above the law just by surrounding yourself with unqualified, thoroughly compromised, rampantly partisan, cartoonishly corrupt appointees who simply act as if the law doesn't exist and just wait for the people with scruples to hand in their resignations so you can appoint more of them while your opponents work within the law you refuse to acknowledge. A law that only has teeth when both sides of your stupid two-party system consider their oaths worth anything. Oh, and you've shown the world America is full of drooling idiots who respond positively to being treated like exceptionally slow witted children as long as you make them feel special and promise they can hit the other kids without them hitting back. You can tell them ANYTHING and you'll never have to put the money you lied about having where your mouth is. You just hold out the hat and watch them fleece themselves.
If there’s ever to be some sort of unity and healing across party lines, it’s best to reach out to the Never-Trumpers. The hard-core Trumpsters are a lost cause (and the few who are still decent people, like my dad, will need to see Trump arrested, prosecuted and his crimes laid bare to snap out of the Orange Fog).

It was, really. Trump tried to get his supporters to vote twice and also to intimidate any non-trump supporters. He also tried to nullify any ballots that weren’t going to him. He also tried that shit in Ukraine. The Cheeto-In-Chief and Ghouliani of the Melting Hair Dye did rig the election, and they still lost.

… and even then, the Dems can make another attempt at Congressional majorities next Election Day, I’m sure there’s a number of GOPers seeking re-election and things are actually closer to 50 / 50 now in Congress.
