I’m aware this is likely a troll, but I’ve seen this exact sentiment expressed unironically.

Men who deny themselves emotional connections and affection in fear of judgement of insecure twits aren’t men in my eyes.

Well, since “beta males” consistently actually sound far better than “Alphas”, I am once again glad to be a beta male.

Also, no man can own a cat. Cats own you.

Well, according to most self-proclaimed “alpha males”, being an alpha seems to mean being “loud, hairy, obnoxious, bullying, skirt-chasing, misogynist”. So, by that definition I do prefer being a beta male (aka “introvert, nice, sensitive, etc”) myself too.

Part of the idea of being an ALPHA MALE™ is dominating everything around you, except maybe other ALPHA MALES™. By that standard, you can generally be like that with a dog, but not a cat. Now that does imply that all men who own cats are beta males™, and most of those people generally subscribe to the idea that there’s an even lower tier (gamma, omega, incel, submale, whatever, there’s no naming consistency) which would imply that ₒₘₑ₉ₐ ₘₐₗₑₛ™ can upgrade to beta males™ just by getting a cat. Though if the ₒₘₑ₉ₐ ₘₐₗₑ™ in question is an actual incel, I wouldn’t wish a cat on them…
