There's evidence of think tanks and false polling houses pushing doctored data since a long time in preparation for election denial conspiracy theorists. Also evidence that Russia in its foreign influence campaigns also promoted that. Before Trump was president. When Trumpists started their "stolen election" disinformation campaign, there already were disinformation sources they could use in their arguments. Still, misrepresentation with select usual fraud cases and doctored data did not convince the courts, in the sustained propaganda show to promote the false conspiracy theory that Biden was not elected normally. Because there was no evidence of massive fraud. But investigations did discover and highlight evidence of conspiracies, by the Trumpist racketeering mob that was trying to cover its own activity, accusing others of doing the same. It's a long process, because it must run legitimately. Not only a propaganda show, this time.
