You have a very good point, but this is still a dilemma I struggle with myself. Namely, is using evil to fight evil by itself evil? Using a “necessary evil” may be more pragmatic, sure, but is it truly worth giving up our morality for it?
The question I’m trying to ask is, is it worth giving up your ability to sleep at night for the greater good?
It’s a very complicated moral dilemma that I honestly can’t figure out myself. I don’t want to sink to their depths, but sometimes I feel like I must if it’s the only way to stop others from doing so, you know?
I’m not expecting anyone to have a proper answer to this. I just hope you understand what I’m trying to say.
