For a third party like me reading it, it suggests that "my baby" may not be very honest... Then, assuming that the person copes when some family members continue to misgender them, tolerating it. What about this bigotry campaign posted online against them? Would they also tolerate that if they noticed?

The "she now risks breast cancer" seems like another excuse thrown on top. It reminds me of those who falsely claim that abortion causes cancer. Males also are vulnerable to certain cancers.

Also, most Haitians I know are Christians, often protestant evangelical, some Catholic (and I know some Jehovah's Witness ones). I've actually only met a few who are into some syncretic Christian+traditional practices. The Christian ones tend to be superstitious with their fear mongering hearsay stories, fearing magic, Santeria, Vodun, etc.

That too contains a straw man. Science doesn't claim that it's perfect, you do. It didn't need to be perfect for life to occur and evolve, just to be under acceptable conditions for long enough, in a universe so large that it sometimes happens. About the big bang, there always will remain some mystery, it's origin myths that assert absolute statements. What science can do is try to explain and discover the history. So far, it's the best model we have, that may always have holes, but it already has very solid ground. For instance, physics and particle accelerators discovered how baryogenesis happened. Astrophysics understands how stars produce more elements, how mass and gravity allow the aggregation of stars, planets, galaxies, black holes, how satellites objects form systems around more massive objects, like our Solar system, etc. It seems like you should also read about acceleration, deceleration and kinetic, potential energy.

Anatomically modern humans are at least 300-400k years old, a 35k flute does not refute that. Flutes are also simple and ancient, but it's true that they're made by humans with the necessary cognitive ability to design, build and play them. We are great apes, it also changes nothing to that. Assuming that Allah is the same as YHWH, that's not particularly old, younger than the claimed flute, and there were earlier human deities. It's not because a flute was made by humans and that gods were created by humans that those imaginary gods really created humans, especially from scratch, considering the evidence of evolution and transitional fossils that have been discovered. Punishing other people because of someone else in the past is evidence that your concept of god lacks ethics and is not worth of respect. When young, this was always a problem that made me question mythology, even if I was a believer. It was obviously unjust if an original couple was tricked for all of humanity to suffer when they fell in the trap.

You also have to explain why suffering happens to the innocent. And why, if the divine exists, it allows your kind of evil bigotry. Intersex people did not chose it and are not responsible for their situation, just like you did not chose to be ignorant. But you may have chosen to be a stupid and arrogant bigot.

This reminds me that when honestly studying the phenomena of prayer, it tends to be elitist and pretentious. Someone may visit a dying person at the hospital and pray for them, without effect. Meanwhile, another person in the same room feels neglected. They may also perceive it as a hypocritical show. A third person in the room, like a relative of the other patient, may rightfully think: why would that other person be more worthy? Meanwhile, in another country, someone is being persecuted and is praying. They suffer and die. Where is your god? Why is your cult better than another? Why would the all powerful being that does not appear to listen, especially listen to you?

For you, that false excuse is to promote hatred against other people for inadvertently being different. Asshole. Intersex doesn't even mean gay. You're also pushing frivolous libel against the LGBTQ+ who are not responsible for their condition.

Exactly, Darwin had no access to DNA, that wasn't discovered yet, it has spawned a new evolutionary synthesis. It still continued to confirm most of the old scientific theory, but offered light to correct and improve models and understand the way mutations happen, give clues about abiogenesis, etc. Evolution is discovery, not human opinion. Science also keeps developing new "senses" to look at the world. Claiming that the fantastical writings of an ancient author and the knowledge of science are the same is a false equivalence fallacy, presenting a straw man of science. For the same reason, the scientific consensus is superior to the opinions of individual scientists.

When science will be able to study the supernatural, it will not be the supernatural. Science studies the "supernatural" all the time, for the people in the past who considered it mysterious. We now know, for instance, that lightning is not an angry Thor. That sacrificing virgins to volcanoes will not prevent them, because they have a natural geological origin. That bush fires are not angels. That brains are unreliable and self-deceiving, that hallucinations are not a window to "a higher reality". That the fantasies of the mind are only that, which is contrasted with knowledge development using the scientific method. Et cetera.

And interestingly, you're confusing science with atheism. The problem is that your pseudoscientific arguments are untenable, not that scientists are atheists. If you provide evidence for your method, they will notice and replicate your results. Assuming that you post them in the relevant peer reviewed journals.

So you want a "science" that is claimed to be science, but is really dictated religious dogma. Because the actual scientific method can only work with what's practical. Still, it doesn't mean that science is atheistic, that's a straw man. Humans doing science are often religious, but it's part of science not to let personal conflicts of interest and common human fallacies taint the work, or it would not progress. It's part of the scientific method to deal with those human weaknesses, so its body of knowledge and the scientific consensus are also superior to human opinions and religions, in terms of reality discovery and assessment. What you don't like is that awakening to reality might put some of your fantasies into question. That's fine, it's part of the process of learning. It's also humbling, we know that we're not the center of the universe. Scientists often say false things or share their personal opinions. When we're looking for the scientific consensus, we don't rely on a single scientist. If they have interesting material to improve science, they can post it in relevant peer reviewed journals with their method and receive criticism while allowing others to try to replicate and evaluate. The obstruction and censorship of knowledge for religious dogma in science would be considered the corruption of science.

Writing and deities are human inventions, so no. Even if humans like us existed 300k years ago, it doesn't mean that everything humans invented appeared 300k years ago. There's much science that has only been developped in the last few hundred years, for instance. You're denying that humans can be very ignorant and need culture transmission to vehiculate knowledge. But you're evidence that some people can be left behind.

You're mistaken, those authors are recognized to have been Christian apologists. It doesn't mean that they embraced the type of obscurantism that would prevent them from expressing their creativity. They were also people of their time and place.

Trusting the Bible? Someone could be misled with it when ignorant about its actual history, origins and purposes. It's also why those who need to impose certain dogma using it are generally opposed to its study without their guidance, an untainted mind without a conflict of interest may arrive at other conclusions. Because there is no univeral understanding and no divine intervention to correct those who are wrong, history is full of sectarianism. There's a more universal academic theology, there also are historians, who greatly helped to put those texts into their perspective and context.

There is no evidence that the authors had special access to knowledge about the past, present or the future. In fact, there is much evidence that they were very ignorant about the world. It's unsurprising, considering the leap of knowledge achieved in the last hundred years alone, using the scientific method.

Even if it shows a flawed understanding of biology, this appears to admit that evolution exists. I suppose that this is the denial of speciation, something often done with arguments splitting evolution into microevolution and macroevolution, to deny that the latter occurs. The latter is only the expression of the same over large time scales. Something useful to observe is how adaptive radiations around continents produced close sexually compatible variants and when going far enough, speciation. We also see this when studying biogeography. Punctuated equilibrium suggests that indeed, periods of faster evolution can happen, when it may partly seem to have stalled in other cases. The large brain of humans effectively makes the species adapt so successfully that natural selection is less of a pressure. It's also not intuitive to observe evolution, because it happens slowly and our brains have evolved to cognitively respond to immediate events. But we have a lot of reliable accumulated evidence, as well as lab tests demonstrating that it happens. It's not invented dogma, it's a discovery made when honestly studying the natural world.
