Des Moines (Capital and largest city) actually has a fairly large population of Vietnamese people that came over as refugees when South Vietnam collapsed. And when I was going to school in Ames (Iowa State University) there were large numbers of Asian exchange students attending- I would say somewhere between 10-15% of the students.

I need to obediently put my shopping cart away in the corral.

People can't even be bothered to do that anymore. At my store people leave dozens of shopping carts in the handicapped stalls every day. They also take the electric carts which are explicitly marked to not use outdoors, out to their vehicle and 95% of those that do never return them indoors. I'm surprised they are still functioning with all of the snowstorms they have been abandoned in over the past two months.

Eta: A few of them can't even do the "not shitting on the floor" thing. In a freaking grocery store.

I don't see how posting a video would get them fined for "Covid regulations" unless this is referring to a fine for spreading misinformation.* That or his shooting of the video occured at a still active hospital in which case they could have done many things which broke protocol that have nothing to do with the actual act of filming.

*Although a law like that would be so broad as to be on legally shaky ground.
