There it is, standing under the Florida sun at Trump National Doral, a towering golden image of Donald Trump, raised up on a pedestal, unveiled with a public dedication ceremony, and then explained away by a Christian MAGA pastor who had to immediately assure everyone that this was “not a golden calf.” When you have to begin your ceremony by saying “this is not a golden calf,” you have already told us what it looks like. This is total preparation for lost people to be decieved when the man of sin is revealed, and the worship of his image will begin.

The statue called “Don Colossus,” reportedly stands 22 feet high including its pedestal, depicts Trump with his fist raised after the Butler assassination attempt, and was dedicated by Pastor Mark Burns at Trump National Doral in Miami. Burns insisted that the statue was not worship, saying it was about honor, resilience, freedom, patriotism, courage, and the hand of God over Trump’s life. My dad used to tell me when I was a kid, “don’t pee on my boots and tell me it’s raining”, and we can certainly apply that here.

It is about the Christianization of political personality worship, where patriotism is treated like piety, a political leader is framed in near-messianic language, and pastors who should be preaching Paul’s gospel are standing beside golden images explaining why it is not really what your Bible-trained eyes tell you it resembles.

This is the Laodicean church in full bloom: rich, political, image-driven, self-celebrating, and completely unable to discern how far it has drifted from New Testament Christianity. The Bible-believing Christian can thank God for preserving a life without turning that life into an icon. We can pray for rulers, as the Scripture commands, without polishing them into golden symbols. We can love our country without confusing America with the kingdom of God.

There are moments when the Bible believer looks at the headlines and feels like they are watching the pages of Scripture rise up, walk off the page, and rebuke the modern world in real time. Israel’s planned Pride Land LGBTQ+ festival at the Dead Sea in June 2026 is one of those moments. Think about the arrogance of it! The very people, the Jews, to whom “were committed the oracles of God”, the word of God, are now the same people who spit in God’s face promoting what He hates. Stephen Hawking was regarded by his peers as the smartest scientist since Albert Einstein, his book entitled A Brief History Of Time sold over 10 million copies. But Stephen Hawking and his celebrated intellect was unable to grasp one simple truth that my kids all had a hold of before the age of 10. That everyone of us are sinners who need a Saviour, and that Jesus Christ is the promised Messiah of Israel who paid our sin debt on the cross 2,000 years ago. Ironically, in the same words where he steadfastly denied the very existence of the God of the Bible, he said he was ‘grateful for the grand design’ of the universe. Hmm—.any first year art student will tell you that without a Designer there can be no design. Hawking at this very moment is hyper-aware of the reality that God does exist, that Jesus Christ is the only way, and that Heaven is real. But sadly, that information does him no good now. He died in his sins with no one to pay for them but himself. Want to be smarter than the smartest man in the world? Ask Jesus to save you on the basis of His death, burial and resurrection, and when you die, instead of burning in a fiery Hell reserved for the Devil, his angels and the unsaved, you’ll be in Heaven with Jesus. Heaven or Hell? You don’t need a college education to see which one of the those two things is better.

They will go to a stadium and “bang their heads for the Lord” for hours on end, and yet spend not a fraction of that time in God’s preserved word. If you watch any of the Super Bowl XL 2026 proceedings today, and I do not recommend you do, what I am telling you will become instantly apparent if your know your Bible.

We get both. If you think that the choice is an “easy one”, you’d be quite mistaken. They both lead you away from God and away from the Bible, and to the Vanity Fair found in The Pilgrim’s Progress.

First and foremost, the Super Bowl is played on a Sunday, the day Jesus rose from the dead. Secondly, the players are called “stars” and “idols”, two expressions found in the Bible connected with idol worship. The Lombardi Trophy is an Easter egg on top of an Egyptian obelisk. Come on, now, you knew that the football represents the Easter egg from the Roman Catholic Church and ancient Babylon, right? Why do you think the NFL uses Roman numerals? Why does the NFL show you the Roman Catholic Church in all their marketing? Stay with me now, the water only gets deeper. Third, the hundreds of millions of viewers will be bombarded with just about everything that God hates. Immorality, drugs, alcohol, homosexuality, gambling, and lust just to name a few. Why do you think that the same corporations we claim to hate pay between $8-10 million dollars for a 30-second commercial. You know what that makes you? A sitting duck. You know what that makes your children? Groomed. Everything I just told you will be exactly the same no matter which Super Bowl you watched or which Halftime show you support today.

People get mad when I say that the Roman Catholic Church is not a Christian Church, and that it does not teach Bible doctrine. But guess what? It’s not, and they don’t. The stunning proof of that occurred this weekend at the Vatican, and it was committed by the man they call the ‘Vicar of Christ’, who is considered to be ‘infallible’ when speaking on matters of the Roman Catholic Church. What did Francis do? He committed the soul of Pope Benedict XVI to the care of the ‘Virgin Mary’ to bring him home to Heaven. Oopsie, wrong answer, enjoy eternity.

When she died, Mary’s soul went home to be with the Lord, no doubt about it. But since her homegoing she hasn’t heard or answered a single prayer for anyone, living or dead, on the face of the earth. Mary is not part of the Godhead, and because she’s not, she does not assist in any way in the ‘journey to Heaven’ of anyone. That’s something only God can do.

But how does a soul get to Heaven when they die? According to the Bible, that happens when a person trusts the Lord Jesus Christ, and nothing else, and by trusting in His death, burial and resurrection on the third day according to the scriptures, they become born again. Jesus says in John 3:1-5 that the only way to enter into the Kingdom of God is to be born again. This is not ‘secret knowledge’ or some deep and hidden truth known only to handful on initiates, it’s the gospel of Jesus Christ, and it is the only way to Heaven. So what on earth is Pope Francis doing ‘entrusting the soul’ of Benedict to the ‘most high Virgin Mary’? He’s committing blasphemy while teaching a false gospel at the same time. If you are trusting the ‘Virgin Mary’ to take you home to Heaven, you will be quite surprised at where you actually wind up. And it’ll be hot, very, very hot.

Zohran Mamdani has won New York’s mayoral race, NBC News projects, after the 34-year-old democratic socialist energized progressives in the city and across the country while generating intense backlash from President Donald Trump and Republicans, as well as some Democratic moderates.
New York City has fallen tonight, fallen into a pit from which there will be no escape, either for New Yorkers in particular or Americans in general. President Donald Trump warned there will be ‘troops everywhere’ when asked if he will take more action if the LA protests continue to rage – amid fears that martial law may be declared.

Sometimes when you look out over the landscape of all these events taking place in America, it can be pretty tough to discern who the bad guys and the good guys are, take the chaotic events from over the weekend. Did we watch President Trump sending in troops to quell violence, or did we see an overuse of military force in order to further stoke tensions? Are we watching a government who has our backs, or is it a government working with Palantir to create a surveillance state? That’s the memo.

The riots and mayhem that sprung up around the killing of George Floyd took place during the first Trump administration, and here in the second, it would seem that the riots and violence have returned. American president Donald Trump is making momentous changes that will have a global impact, he has only been in office for 28 days, but off to a furious start. One of the things he has said he will take control of is Gaza and the West Bank to the north of Israel proper. It remains to be seen if he can actually do that, but he certainly wants to. In the midst of all this, predictably, comes talk of Trump making it possible for the Jews to rebuild their Temple in Jerusalem. To that point, many are calling Trump a modern-day King Cyrus, a nice sentiment, but quite impossible if you believe the Bible.

One of the most astonishing prophecies anywhere in the Old Testament of your King James Bible, outside of those concerning the birth of Jesus, would have to be the foretelling of a king named Cyrus whom God would use to help the Jews rebuild the city of Jerusalem and the Temple after the events of the 70 years of Babylonian captivity. Isaiah makes this amazing prophecy roughly 250 years before Cyrus, who would grow up to be king over the Persian empire, authorized the Jews to go back and begin the rebuilding process.

The Bible accounts for the first Temple, second Temple and the last Temple, but gives no instructions, decrees, commands or charges for any Jew to build the Temple that will exist during the time of Jacob’s trouble. What does all this mean for us here in the closing hours of the Church Age? It means that any Temple that is built in Jerusalem before the Second Advent will be the Temple in which Antichrist will be worshipped. That is a non-negotiable fact if you believe the Bible. If a Temple is built, and you just may see that happen before the Rapture, it will be the Temple of Antichrist.

Jaguar released a new logo treatment along with other branding today that they themselves describe as a ‘new era’, seismic change’ and ‘bold’. All three of those things are true, but in the worst possible way. Their branding looks like a cross between Andy Warhol and Max Headroom, with a healthy splash of woke DEI thrown in for good measure. That’s kind of funny when you consider one of their taglines is ‘copy nothing’. Missing from the new release were any and all images of a Jaguar car. Interesting choice. So what are they selling? Good question.

We live in an age of great deception that is combined with great tools with which to disseminate that deception on a global level never before seen in human history. The Degrowth Movement for Climate Change has swelled in recent years, particularly in Europe and in academic circles, now it’s been linked up with Communism. Doesn’t that sound like fun?
Make no mistake about it, the Climate Change Movement as it exists around the world in 2024 is very much a religion, and within that context, its adherents are working feverishly to bring in an eco-theocracy. The object of worship is, of course, the divine feminine in the form of ‘Mother Earth’, and now a new group called the ‘Degrowth Movement’ combines Agenda 2030 with Communism. In the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum Period around 92 million years ago, another heat spike. And in the Younger Dryas Period of about 12,000 years ago, things abruptly cooled off. Ice Age. You will note that none of these periods were affected by anything man was or was not doing. The LGBT Mafia is making a full-court press for their case that God accepts actively, out of the closet homosexuals and homosexuality. If the Bible is still right, then He does not. Queer culture evangelists like Matthew Vines travel the country attempting to make converts to their “theology”. This is a spiritual battle in these last days as darkness continues to rise in America and around the world, I understand why they do it. But what I cannot understand is why Chick-Fil-A is helping them to do it.

I am quite sure now that this news has gone global, Chick-Fil-A CEO Dan Cathy will read his lawyer-approved prepared statement that will explain why he is using the Chick-Fil-A name and brand his father started to promote a Sodomite film festival. And I am sure his reasons for partnering with the LGBT will sound oh-so forthright and convincing . But what will he say, I wonder, to Jack Phillips of the Masterpiece Cake Shop in Colorado who lost his business because he refused to make a same-sex wedding cake? Or Barronelle Stutzman and her flower shop in Washington State who was hauled into court and forced to be heavy fines for not making flower arrangements for a same-sex wedding. Unlike mega-millionaire Dan Cathy, these hardworking, blue collar Christian men and women pay a heavy price when they stand for Jesus Christ. This move is a slap in their face, and in all the faces of Christians across the globe who refuse to bow down at the altar of the LGBT Mafia Movement.

Shame on you, Dan Cathy. Christian Americans stood by you and Chick-Fil-A every step of the way back in 2012 when you were persecuted for taking a stand for Jesus Christ. But we will not stand with you on this. No sir. One of my favorite places to get lunch is at one of your restaurants, but that can and will change.

When I am looking for subject matter for a new Podcast, many times I will go with what the main or top story in the news happens to be if it has some relation on Bible prophecy. This morning, while looking for material, I at first was a tad flummoxed when, despite all the headlines, I was finding no singular compelling story to talk about. Earlier today on his Truth Social site, Donald Trump shared a video called ‘So God Made Trump’, which borrows liberally from the Paul Harvey classic ‘So God Made A Farmer’, and injected this new creation with an extra-helping of messianic fervor. Tampons and sanitary napkins are now available in men’s bathrooms at the Canadian Parliament under a new policy from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau that requires all federally regulated employers — including airports and military bases — to offer free menstrual products in all washrooms, regardless of gender noted on the door.

At this point, you have to wonder if we are somehow trapped in a giant, global psychological experiment, where our New World Order masters issue dictates just to see who is stupid enough, gullible enough and sufficiently compliant to meet their demands with unblinking obedience. Such is the case of Justin Trudeau in Canada ordering tampons in the men’s rooms all across Canada.

In the Bible, God destroyed the twin cities of both Sodom and Gomorrah for the sin of homosexuality, and He did it by raining down fire and brimstone on them. The Bible also says that God is “no respecter of persons”, meaning that if He judged them for homosexuality then He certainly will judge us also. So why does He appear to be waiting on issuing that judgment? Because the Bible says that God allows you time to either let your cup fill up to the top, or to allow you to get right and empty it yourself.

* Obama said that his “red line” with Syria was if they used chemical weapons, well they did and he did nothing about it.

* Obama said he would have the “most transparent regime administration in US history”, but has been one of the most secretive of all time.

Liberal poet Maya Angelou once said that “when someone shows you who they are, believe them”. Obama sat in a studio and posed specifically for that photo and specifically for that magazine cover. It’s called OUT Magazine, could he be any more obvious or intentional?

Over the years, I have read commentary from many Bible teachers weighing in on the many judgments that the LORD releases from Heaven during the great Tribulation time period. Some say those things described by John are hydrogen bombs, advanced attack helicopters and weapons of war being hatched in secret places like Russia, China and in Area 51 in Nevada. With my eyes still crusty from sleep, I opened my phone to look at the news while coffee was brewing this morning, and I saw a headline that hit me like a ton of bricks. It said ‘NEW COVID VARIANT ‘ARCTURUS’ CAUSING SURGE IN INDIA’, and right away I knew where I had heard that word before. “In astronomy class”, you say? No sir, I reply, it’s in the pages of my King James Bible, and it’s a direct reference to the last days. Oh, and guess what? For ‘some strange reason’, all of the modern versions have removed the word ‘Arcturus’, I wonder why?

Arcturus in your King James Bible is the ‘Big Dipper’ or ‘The Bear’ from high school astronomy class, and the ‘sons of Arcturus’ are the ‘sons of the Bear’ that make up the handle of the ‘Big Dipper’. Have you ever looked in your Bible to see if there is a Bear mentioned anywhere in relation to the end times? Because there sure is. You can start in Revelation 13:1,2 to see the Bear as one of the features of Antichrist, and if you went digging you would find that same theme repeated in Daniel 7:5, Amos 5:19, and Proverbs 28:15 just to name a few. The president of Asbury University closed down the school to the revival which according to all reports is moving elsewhere right now. For the past 15 or so days, the so-called Asbury Revival has gone viral on social media, for reasons good and bad. Christians are called to judge the spiritual things we encounter, including things like a movement of revival in our midst, to see if it is from God or from Satan. Would Satan send an end time revival?
