Skincolor is not culture. And even if you had two parents with vastly different cultures with a caring family that wouldn’t be a problem.

This made me remember Smallville, after Clark learned where he was really from. He spent so much time regarding his human side and his Kryptonian side as options he had to choose between. Not until the end of the show did he realize they were two halves he should combine into a best-of-both-worlds whole. Only then could he become Superman.

Speaking as a man of mixed race myself (Italian-Egyptian), I do not remember my parents’ biracial marriage ever being an issue. My parents loved each other, and by the time I was born my mother (a former refugee) had already adapted to Italian culture and didn’t need to make too many compromises. We all shared in the struggle of moving to the US, but any compromises and lifestyle choices we made were as a family in a new country, not because of our skin color.

I identify myself as myself, the son of my parents. I rarely talk about my ethnicity outside of official surveys because it’s not important to me. Now, I am not Black and therefore don’t pretend to understand their experiences, but I do know a number of other mixed-race people (including my wife) who think the same way I do. We are proud of our biracial upbringings, and we wouldn’t have them any other way.

My kids were born in Virginia and Florida, where the state insisted both of yhem were black. So, not lost between the cracks, thanks to racists writing legislation.

I have not observed these compromises you assert. The kids like some of the stuff my wife and i have in common, some stuff only one of us is into, some stuff neithrr of us is into.

None of them have been in trouble with the Law, either. So apparently, you are judt ignorant and your fantasies can be ignored.

I have some biracial friends, and none of them are violent criminals. Maybe, just maybe, there are other factors at play and his heritage is irrelevant.

My best friend (Polish-lineage mother, French Canadian-lineage father) married a Hindi-American man (I haven’t thought to ask which parts of India are the main ancestry elements). Today is their daughters’ 13th birthday. “Well-adjusted” barely does justice to them.
