He was under house arrest until July 5th. He’s since been released but forbidden to leave the EU, his trial is still pending. No date has been set, but given that DIICOT (who are more or less the Romanian version of the FBI) are very busy investigating him, likely a date will be set once that investigation is largely concluded.
Meanwhile that asshat has been acting like his newfound freedom means he was exonerated.
