A fetus is a human and has the same rights. We prosecute people who malaciously leave their babies to die - why are abortionists any different? Every human being deserves life. And if "bodily autonomy" is so sacred, why the bodily autonomy of the baby is not respected as it's harvested for organs? That's right. The industry of elective infanticide has to get it's resources somehow. So don't sweat it if your "friend" blocked you; you're better off without them.

I don’t think they understand what those words mean. “Autonomy” means that one has the right to self-determination. “Body Autonomy” means the right to determine what happens to your own body (usually used in the context of health care, but also social, sexual, and employment situations). Fetuses don’t have rights, and don’t have the capacity to determine anything. Hell, even toddlers aren’t treated as having much capacity for determination unless you’re one of those people who let their kids run feral.

This isn’t even a case of aping left-wing political terminology without an in-depth understanding of the issues behind them, it’s a case of not even understanding regular language.

I’m guessing that they mean the right to inviolability, which is a different conversation from the one they probably think they’re having.

False conspiracy theory for demonization purposes. But yes, the embryo is "human", although not yet an infant or person. And parental negligeance is voluntarily confused here for propaganda purposes.

Good point, I think that it's actually voluntary, redefining language is central in their propaganda. And of course there are the initiators then the amplificators by repetition...

Their organs are not being harvested. Those organs are not even fully developed and way to small to use. It wouldn't even be viable to attempt to use those organs. This is one of those right-wing myths that never had any basis in reality.

Many abortions are done before 12 weeks' gestation, at which point the fetus is the size of a plum. How do you imagine you can get useful organs from something that size?

No one is harvesting the undeveloped organs of aborted fetuses, you lying sack of shit.

The fetus has no rights until it’s born, period. It’s utterly dependent on the pregnant woman for its needs and if the woman doesn’t want to be pregnant, she won’t do what is necessary for the fetus to have the best chance at thriving after the birth. Banning abortion is bad news for everyone.
