I thought about memory-in-DNA once. It would mean, your brain has to not only encode it’s structure into DNA molecules, but also update the genome of other cells in your body. At least the gametes/gamete precursors would need these updates.
And it would have to release these updates CONSTANTLY.

And it would have to encode this in such a form, that it results in the original brain structure being recreated, when an embryo with such DNA sequences is growing it’s brain.

That would be a VERY complex biochemical mechanism. And very noticeable, too. At the very least, the genome of today’s sperm sample being different from yesterday’s would have been noticed by now.
