If "foids" are inherently more vulnerable to Satan's influence, then why the hell did the courts of Salem listen to a group of teenage girls undergoing hysterical fits?
Most of the accused women were middle aged or elderly. Sarah Good was a dishevelled beggar. Sarah Osburne was a local eccentric. Bridget Bishop was married (although she and her husband were notorious for their arguments with each other). These ladies weren't exactly going to be luring in any men anytime soon.
Accused witches are usually either scapegoats for society's ills because they are too old or sick to fight back, or because the accuser holds a grudge, or the local courts want the accused's property.
