@Bastethotep #47330
CHAZ proves otherwise.
> The Republican Party has been becoming increasingly fascist for a long time now, and with Trump, it escalated to a whole new level.
For 4 years you’ve been fearmongering about the imminent fascist takeover of America and so far none of that has been proven and Trump is almost at the end of his first term. Trump even had an amazing opportunity to do a fascist take over by exploiting the Coronavirus crisis and guess what? He didn’t do it, he opposed the lockdowns while pro-lockdown governors were calling him a tyrant for not wanting to let people leave the house freely which is Orwellian as fuck. Those who are pro-lockdown are far closer to a fascist, it’s been proven over and over that outdoor transmission of the coronavirus with people spread out is almost impossible and the real problem is prolonged (15min+) interaction indoors. But fascists still wanna lock everyone up for 12 months until we have a vaccine.
> Personality cult around an autocratic leader who is considred infallible
You don’t know what a personality cult is and George Floyd is far closer to a personality cult than Trump. Say vile things about Trump on Facebook - nobody cares. Say vile things about Floyd or BLM - you get banned and maybe fired if you work for a “woke” corporation. Cancel culture has created a list of people and even ideas you’re not allowed to criticize.
> Heavy reliance on conspiracy theories
Like the dog whistle conspiracy theory? Or the Russia collusion?
> Populism focussing heavily on “Good Old Times”, blatant xenophobia and a supposed double threat from an innately inferior parasitic Communist lower class and a detached “degenrate” intellectual-financial (Jewish) elite
LOL! Trump has Jewish people in the family by marriage and many of his business partners are Jewish.
Inb4 they’re all tokens, well that’s a LOT of tokens don’t you think?
Maybe you’re wrong? Maybe you’re wrong. I’ll go with that.
> Jingoism and machismo
If by that you mean he doesn’t take crap from social justice warriors and writes policy based on American interests first rather than thinking globally - that’s not fascist. All countries to one degree or another follow their interest first. If you don’t like a specific policy say it, don’t fearmonger about something that’s not true.
> Really bad hair cut
Now you’re just desperate. I would bet 10$ you have worse and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not even a natural color.
> Oh, and shielding police brutality in the name of being “tough on crime”
Upholding the law isn’t fascist if the law is just. Do you want a society where people can rob, rape and kill freely?
I seem to recall third wave feminists also supporting tough on crime stances, at least when it comes to rape. Are they fascist as well or do they get a pass because reasons? It’s clear you have a fundamentally inconsistent position here and you need to reevaluate it.
And wasn’t that the same Trump who encouraged holding Chauvin accountable?
> It’s just that, fortunately, Donald Trump is absurdly incompetent and kleptocratic even by fascist standarts.
He’ll be leaving peacefully in early 2021 to early 2025 and then you’ll never hear from him again just like you don’t hear much from Obama or Bush, will you then renounce these absurd views or at least admit you were conned into a hysteria over nothing and no fascist takeover happened?
